Good until it dies

Been happy with it but suddenly a bunch of photos and a couple of videos I took, and deleted after moving to my computer kept coming back. I thought some program had them backed up, but finally found the card I had would not delete them - even if I put the card in my computer and tried to delete, and they were there even after reformatting it. Somehow the card locked those files and the only thing was to replace it
