I got this for my Nintendo Switch because I needed a bigger micro sd card and has been working for over 2 years. It has a lot of space and does its job. I would recommend this sd card to anyone.

So far I have only used it for gaming but it has great storage and the speed it gives makes it easy to transfer whatever you have stored if you wish to do so with the adapter that comes with it.

For all the reviews saying the size isn't right (and thinking that means the cards are fake) you are not reading the description and you don't understand how hard drives, SSDs, flash drives, or memory cards are sold. This is an industry-standard. Your computer reads things in multiples of 1,024... so 1,024 bytes is a KB, 1,024 KB is an MB... 1,204 MB is a GB, etc... But all drives are sold in multiples of 1,000. So if you buy a 512GB card, and do the math... device makers are saying that card is 512,000,000,000 bytes. But divide that by 1,024 and your operating system will see it as 476.84GB. Beyond that, you also lose a small percentage for the "file system" index on the drive. So you may see a few GB less even. In my case, I have a 256GB card, which shows up as 238GB, which is exactly as expected. The description on this listing explains this with the text: 1MB=1,000,000 bytes. 1GB=1,000,000,000 bytes. 1TB=1,000,000,000,000 bytes. Actual user storage is less. That explained, I tested my card's speed to see if it hits the 120MB/s ideal... not really. But marketing hype being what it is, I'm sure the "Speed up to 120/MB/s**" is in perfectly ideal conditions with specific readers and file sizes and the like... so my test of 93MB/s on a 10-year-old USB 3 card reader with the SD adapter is acceptable to me. I think this should work fine on a soon to arrive Nintendo Switch for the kids. I'll update this review if any surprises come up that should be noted. Read less

So far this product has worked out very well. I was happy to find a 256GBas i was working with a 3GB. I am pleased with my purchase and the performance of this product within my Microsoft mobile phone

SanDisk is a top quality brand that provided a lot of memory storage up to 256GB for this memory card. It was worth $94.99. Now for only $54.99. A saving of $40. You just can't beat that price. Excellent brand, plenty of storage, and a value sale price!!! Also, included a free item from Shutterfly with purchase. What more can you ask for.

I use this to offload files on my 64 GB Google Chromebook that I don’t need using internal storage. I keep photos and work files on it, with some other backup data just in case anything ever happened. I was thinking of installing a second operating system like Linux on it in the future. It has some of the fastest read and write speeds next to Samsung flash memory.

Large amount of storage in a small package for a great sale price.

Cheap and high quality. Transfer speed matches my samsung evo plus which is more expensive.

Went to local location to buy another card that was on sale, but they had none available (even though they were supposed to have 7 in stock). Bought this as I had driven 25 miles. It's OK, I can use it in a security camera.

Great memory addition for a laptop which needed additional memory. Will purchase a SanDisk anytime the price is sweet and can enhance devices which need additional memory.

This product was purchased with intent of paying the identical price that the Nintendo switch sd memory card is. However where the value I wanted out of it is located is that for forgoing the Nintendo logo, you can have double the memory. This card will work in place of the 128gig sd for the switch. You get double the memory out of this memory chip for the same price currently. —no issues to date. —works as intended.

This Sandisk Ultra Plus 256gb micro sd card is really a must have for people that store movies, audio books, photos, videos, & files of any kind on their tablet, phone, or laptop. This 256gb micro sd card is super fast and quite easy to use! I have already loaded my apps on it, so my tablet runs much, much faster! I experienced no issues what so ever with this device. Sandisk is a top brand for its micro sd cards and its flash drives, so I feel confident about its performance and longevity. The quality and performance is great! I would absolutely recommend this sd card to my friends & family. I would definitely buy this product again. Especially since the price was right!
