Very pleased with this bag. It has plenty of room for my 15" MacBook Pro and iPad along with all my other stuff (cords, jump drives, mouse, papers, etc.). There is enough space in this bag to fit two 15" laptops and a tablet easily. Space for the laptop has a nice hard backing for protection, and all the other compartments are very soft fabric so there is no risk of scratching, but because they are fabric they don't really provide the best divider is some cases. The only slight con I have is that the compartment that holds the laptop doesn't actually zip close or anything, so depending on how its sitting, the top corners are exposed, but from what I can tell so far if its on my should my laptop is completely covered. There is a velco strap that hold the laptop in securely. The strap is also nice and durable. Feels comfortable on your shoulder even loaded full of stuff.
