This is the best TV mount that I have ever owned. It is both heavy-duty and flexible, which makes it nothing short of outstanding. Sanus makes the best TV mounts out there, and this model lives up to that reputation. It is expensive, but if you want the best then look no further. The first thing I noticed was how heavy the box is. Which makes sense because to hold a large TV on an extended arm requires a high amount of material strength. The process of mounting the TV is very straightforward. Attach the bracket to your TV, attach the plate to the wall, and then hang the TV on the arm. Sanus includes a large selection of different screw sizes and lengths. Also included are drywall anchors. I am using this mount with a 75 inch TV, so I opted to hire a handyman to handle the mounting. I could have handled most of the process by myself, but I would not have been able to safely handle the physical lifting and hanging of the TV by myself. Total installation time was about 2 hours. Within the arm is a shallow cavity for wire management. I am using a single HDMI cable to my TV, so it is more than sufficient for my needs, The physical operation of the mount feels unbelievably smooth, considering how large and heavy the TV is. I am effortlessly able to extend the TV in and out. The month can also tilt forward. I absolutely love the 28 inch extension capability because I prefer to be as close to the TV as I can. I mounted my TV exactly where I wanted it to be, centered on the wall, but this mount can also allow the TV position to be adjusted vertically and horizontally. The TV can be vertically raised or lowered up to 4 inches by loosening a screw. Horizontal adjustment is also possible but requires taking the TV off the mount. I am thrilled with this Sanus TV mount! It strongly and securely holds my TV on the wall. The TV looks great on the wall while both extended or flush. It is also intelligently designed to offer the maximum amount of flexibility possible. This is hands down the best TV mount currently on the market.

PROS + Heavy-duty and sturdy TV mount + Very flexible with positioning: fully adjustable left-right, up-down, swivel, tilt, and extension + Extends up to 28” outwards, making access to components very easy + Arm for adjusting height can double as a handle to help move the TV easily + Movement and mechanics are very smooth and silent + Despite how far it can extend, when full compressed the TV still sits very close to the wall + Has guardrails so you keep it between the wall studs + Overall not difficult to assemble, but take your time and use 2 people at least CONS - Cable management channels are pretty small, which can make routing multiple cables or thicker cables difficult SO-SO * Vertical and horizontal adjustments require tools, so if you are tweaking them frequently, you will want to keep them nearby * Paper instructions are not the best, video tutorial helps, but be ready to use some intuition as well to make sure you install it all correctly * With 28” extension, make sure all of your cables are plenty long THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT This Sanus Elite Full-Motion TV Mount is about as good as a TV mount can physically be. If you want a TV mount that lets the TV sit close to the wall, this one does it. If you need the flexibility to move the TV around and pull it far from the wall, you can do that too. It is very flexible with set-up and positioning, since you can move the TV quite a bit in all directions after it is on the wall. Like all TV mounts, you should still take your time mounting it and ensure everything is positioned correctly, but once done, you do have a lot of flexibility to set the TV just right. I have a 77” LG GX OLED, which came with a flush mount wall mount that I used for the last 3 years, and while it looks great on the wall since it sits full flush, it lacks quite a bit of flexibility. Thankfully, this Sanus wall mount satisfies all of my problems, with almost no downsides. Set-up was fairly straight forward, but does require some patience and intuition to make sure it fits your space well. I highly recommend watching the recommended video tutorials, as the paper instructions are primarily just a bunch of images you need to interpret. It definitely requires two people to properly set-up, but there is quite a lot of flexibility in terms of placement. I used two wood studs, and the mount is wide enough that I could easily center it on my wall without issue. From there, getting the mount frame on the TV was very easy with the included hardware, and connecting the TV to the mount with the arm was also very easy. I have a larger TV, but in general 3 people are recommended, so you can have two line-up the TV while one guides and puts the final screw in place to keep the TV fixed on the arm. Once set-up, adjustments are very easy. There is a handle on the back that doubles as both a screw which you can twist to move the TV up or down 4”, as well as a handle to actually move the TV around. With a couple of provided hex wrenches, you can easily left/right shift the TV between the studs and rotate the TV so it sits level. So while extending/contracting, tilting, swiveling the TV can all be done very easily, some of the 2D adjustments do require using the included tools, which you may want to keep close, at least for the first few days until you get it positioned just right. Once all done though, there really is very little to complain about. The mount is sturdy, noiseless, very flexible, discrete, and all around high-quality. The only thing I would say is a flaw is the cable management, which has you route the cables through channels in the arms. For me though, these were not really usable since I have braided HDMI cables which were too thick to close the channel covers. Thankfully, I found that if I routed the cables below and behind the arms, even with the TV fully compressed, the cables had enough space to fit behind the arms without being crushed. My advice is to be very cognizant of where you will be routing your cables prior to installing the TV, if you are routing cables through the wall. If you are not routing them through the wall, then this may be a non-issue for you. On the whole though, this is a fantastic mount. Yes it is pricier, but you do get what you pay for. It can do almost anything you need a TV mount to do, and does it very well. It is sturdy, quiet, flexible, and very secure. Highly recommended.

    Sturdy and flexible TV mount

Sanus has been in the TV mount business longer than most other companies who manufacture similar products. This has given them an edge in how to build some of the best products on the market. As I needed a mount for a 55" TV which weighs more than a bag of bricks, I went with the Sanus Elite Full-Motion 4D+SHIFT TV Mount. And boy was it an adventure. Before I get into the mounting, you have to know that the box is very big and quite heavy (50lbs+). I would advise to get someone to give you a hand as it's almost impossible to install on your own, especially with a bigger sized TV. This being said, let's check out what's in the box and the installation process. The box contains 3 main parts. The first is the wall mount bracket, the second is the actual arm and the last one is the TV "harness". The package contains mounting screws and bolts, spacers to accommodate certain odd shaped screens and a short but well written installation guide. You can also use the links provided to view installation videos which will definitely resonate with people who prefer a more visual help. I should also mention the provided template which allows you to make sure your mount is level and hits the studs (if you're mounting on a hollow wall). The installation process is very simple and mostly easy. The first step is to mount the support harness on your TV's VESA mounting holes. This takes less than 5 minutes. The second thing you'll want to do is to secure the wall mount bracket. Be aware that the bolts to secure the screen to the wall are massive. You will need a socket wrench or an impact driver to get them into the wall. Since I was using the studs in the wall to mount, it took a while to get them all the way in. That took about 15-20 minutes. Once mounted to the wall, it's on there really, really good, which can no doubt support a very big TV. Something I found very classy were the plastic covers over the mount which hide all the bolts and rails, leaving you with a clean installation. The next thing is to attach the swivel arm. This is another 5 minutes tops. Make sure to secure the arm according to the manual. The arm will hold the brunt of the weight, so make sure it's on there right. Last step is to attach the TV to the arm, which takes another 5 minutes at best. That's it! It took us about 30 minutes in total to get everything up and running. Once mounted, I was amazed at how flexible this baby is. Up, down, left, right, up, down, angled, you choose. I really have to give Sanus a big thumbs up. They've managed to make the installation of a TV wall mount not only fairly simple, but also solid as a rock. I'm pretty confident that before the mount comes off, it'll take the entire wall with it. That's how secure this thing is. Even if this Elite product from Sanus isn't the most affordable one, it's cheaper than having to purchase a new TV because the cheaper one couldn't handle the weight. Frankly, I would recommend the Sanus Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount to everyone. A great piece of hardware!

    Huge full motion mount

Wow, this Sanus 4D full motion mount is huge! I have two Sanus VLT6 mounts which, like this mount, can also accommodate televisions up to 90-inches. The major difference is, this mount has full rotation and viewing adjustment capability whereas the VLT6 mounts have much more limited movement consisting of basically forward, back, tilt up, or down. The VLT6’s are also significantly smaller than this full motion mount. I’ve installed several Sanus mounts previously, so I’m familiar with the process. Sanus provides comprehensive installation guides, templates, and several helpful QR code links to aid with installation. They even provide a helpful installation walkthrough on their website that can even help determine the optimal placement height based upon the make and model television. I rounded up the usual necessary tools (drill, pencil, level, screwdriver, and socket set), found the wall studs, verified and marked the stud centers, leveled and drilled the four mounting holes, bolted the wall plate to the wall using a 13mm socket, and attached the arm assembly to the wall bracket via the hook and two locking screws. My television delivery was delayed, so I won’t be able to attach it to the mount until later this week. However, the mount is installed, the arm travels smoothly, and the mount feels solid, sturdy and more than capable of handling the 65-inch OLED TV heading my way. Assembly was easy but also a little aggravating. The first time I lifted the bracket to the wall, the top plastic cover snapped off, causing me to lose my grip and nearly drop the heavy bracket onto my foot. I kept the plastic piece detached during the remainder of the mounting as a precaution. Afterwards, when I snapped the plastic piece back on, the words were upside down. This makes me wonder if I may have installed the bracket upside down. The bracket doesn’t seem to have a definitive up or down and it looks fine on the wall. The arm fits perfectly and moves fine, and both plastic pieces actually also fit and function fine. Everything looks and works normal, so I won’t worry about the minor aesthetics of some tiny barely noticeable words that will be mostly blocked by the television anyhow. Not worth removing four long bolts that took some major elbow grease to get locked down tight. I even suspect the two plastic pieces may even be interchangeable and what I’m seeing is normal.

Heavyweight contender in the TV mount arena

The SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount is a beast of a mount for larger TVs. It excels in providing a secure and exceptional flexibility for TVs between 42 to 90 inches. Its impeccable quality build and many features make it an ideal choice for most TV viewers with large screens. I’m an avid DIYer with some years of experience, however the installation process seemed more complex than I expected, primarily due to the mount's weight at about 50 pounds and the number of components involved. To prioritize durability and strength, SANUS built it like a tank; a mix of premium-grade metal and hard plastics that supports TVs up to 125 pounds. For a successful installation, a stud finder and a level are a must as well as a helping hand due to the sheer size of the mount. The instructions were clear, demanding attention to detail, definitely not for beginners. In the end, due to a recently sustained hand injury, I had it professionally installed by two members of the Geek Squad. The outcome was a sturdy and professional-looking setup. This TV mount stands out with its great range of motion. I have a 65-inch TV attached to it and I’m so impressed with its smoothness that it feels effortless. It can tilt, swivel, and has extending capabilities that ensure additional viewing angles in any room. The "SHIFT" in its name is a feature that allows for precise horizontal adjustments, especially if wall studs are misaligned. It has a well designed integrated cable management system that keeps your connections neatly organized and enhances the overall visual appeal of your entertainment setup. The build quality is top of the line, with a solid and well-made mount ensuring that your TV will be securely supported and protected. The SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount is a great choice for those seeking maximum flexibility and viewing angles. The only challenges are the weight and complexity of installation. Besides that, its solid construction, great craftsmanship and advanced features make it a worthwhile investment for larger TVs.

I love the fact the full motion can adjust up and down 8 inches. In case I plan on getting my soundbar mounted or a bigger tv is the reason I decided on this one. Holds a good amout of weight. Tested it doing a couple of pull ups. Gap fron my wall is about an 1 1/2 inch. Not too bad.

All hail the king of TV mounts! The SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV mount should be your first choice when wall-mounting a TV. With a proven trust and reliability track record, SANUS has been my go-to mount for over 15 years and is the only company holding my TV. Innovative features like SHIFT allow an additional variable to dial in your installation to perfection on a 4th axis. Everything you need is provided in the box, complete with QR codes for video instructions on installation and adjustment. It was quick and easy to install with all the proper tools. A drill, socket, level, measuring tape, and pencil were all I used to get operational in less than 15 minutes. I was upgrading a previous mount so I could use two pre-existing holes and then translate down to the new part of the bracket that did not have bolts. Overall, you cannot beat this mount; although some may come close, no one beats this mount with the addition of the fourth axis of adjustment. After installation, you can enjoy extensions up to 28 inches and as flush as 2.4 inches for effortlessly perfect viewing angles and adjustments. The only con for some may be the price! I promise you get what you pay for with mounts. Craftsmanship, innovation, ease of use, and materials make up the best mount, but the feeling you will get after the perfect installation is well worth it. This mount is made for DIYers or professionals who need to solve problems and those who measure twice before drilling and reading instructions. Design and Build Quality: The SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount is a premium option for those seeking versatility and durability in their TV mounting solution. The mount supports 42 to 90 inches, making it suitable for various room sizes and TV models. Its robust construction and sleek design ensure a secure hold and add a touch of modern elegance to any living space. Installation: The installation process is straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions and included hardware. The mount's components are well-organized and labeled, which simplifies the setup. Get a drill, measuring tape, and level; everything else you need is in the box. Even for those not particularly handy, the installation can be completed in under an hour. I was up and functional in less than 15 minutes since I already had a mount and was upgrading. With SHIFT, I could use two of the previous holes for streamlined installation. Adjustability and Features: One of the standout features of the SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount is its incredible adjustability. The mount allows for smooth, effortless movement in four dimensions: tilt, swivel, extend, and shift. This flexibility means you can easily find the perfect viewing angle, whether from a couch, a chair or even while standing. Move the party or game to where you are, and now you aren't confined to just one place. The extendable arm provides ample range, and the tilt function is handy for reducing glare from windows or lights. The SHIFT feature is another notable addition, allowing horizontal adjustments even after installation. This is particularly handy if you need to make minor corrections without removing the TV from the wall after upgrading a sound bar or TV. I used Shift to offset and successfully mount two different brands of TV in the same amount and was able to compensate for the VESA placement on the TV. Performance: In terms of performance, the SANUS Elite mount excels. It holds the TV securely, with no wobble, squeaks, or sag, even while fully extended to its maximum range. The smooth motion makes it easy to adjust the TV's position without effort, and the sturdy construction gives confidence that the TV is safe and secure. The TV gets flush to the wall about 2.5 inches, which is close giving this an extensive range of configurations. Value for Money: While the SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount is priced at a premium level, it offers excellent value for money. Combining high-quality materials, innovative features, and ease of use justifies the investment. It is a long-term solution that enhances the viewing experience and provides peace of mind with its secure mounting. Conclusion: The SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount is an outstanding choice for anyone looking to mount a large TV with maximum flexibility and ease. Its premium build quality, ease of installation, and superior adjustability make it a top contender in the market. Whether setting up a home theater or upgrading your living room, this mount delivers in every aspect. Pros: - High-quality build and sleek design - Supports a wide range of TV sizes (42"-90"), both curved and flat - Smooth and effortless adjustability in four dimensions - SHIFT feature for post-installation horizontal adjustments - Easy installation with included hardware

The SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount for TVs 42"-90" is a beast of a wall mount. I have worked with smaller wall mounting kits (single arm, double arm, and flush mount, that were 42” to 65”. The double arm armatures for the SANUS Elite are easily double the thickness, weight, and mobility of the smaller kits I have assembled. For example, I have a SANUS single arm from about five years ago that my 65” LG TV is hanging on. Pushing the TV towards or away from the wall cause the panel to flex slightly because the joints are so tight. The joints on the double armed SANUS Elite, on the other hand, are very easy to move. There is also a tension screw at the elbow of each arm allowing me to tighten or loosen the arms for my specific application. In my instance, I often move the position of the TV if I need to work behind my entertainment center to change out or adjust wires, power cables, or if I am changing out equipment. Being able to push the TV out of the way creates both an easier work experience and increases my personal safety. Personal Safety? Meaning, I can reduce the risk of bouncing my head off the TV when working behind the entertainment center. Quality: The overall build and materials of the SANUS Elite are fantastic. The system is made of steal. There are a few plastic parts which consist of rail covers for the mounting frame, cable covers for the armatures, and some cosmetic pieces. The armature assembly alone weights approximately 28.5 lbs. The wall plate looks thin along the edges but is very stiff and feels rugged in the hand. The wall plate is designed to allow the armature to slide as far as it needs to along the mounting track in either direction. However, follow all of the TV mounting instructions, recommendations, and heed all the warnings outlined in the manual. Just because you can mount your TV with the armature as far to the right as the mounting bracket will allow does not mean that it is a good idea. Assembly: I cannot stress these points enough: 1) read the instructions and learn them forward and backwards, 2) work with a buddy, 3) dry assemble this on the floor before attempting to mount this on your wall, and 4) measure everything before you begin. The instructions for the SANUS Elite are good but could use more written explanation and, in some instances, clearer images. The manual is designed with picture first instructions with minimal written explanation. This is why point 3 above is so important. Some pictorials lack sufficient context which forced me to inspect the whole mounting system before I could I follow the instruction. Good examples of these are the elbow tension screws, the tilt screw, the TV mount locking screw, and the screws required to engage and lock the height adjustment handles. Next, measure everything twice. A properly mounted TV should align the center line of the TV with the your eyes at your viewing position. At least as much as possible and practical with the realities of your viewing space. The SANOS Elite does allow 4” adjustment up and down off the center of the top armature where the TV mounting plate is located. The TV mounting plate is higher than the center line of the wall bracket by about 2.25 inches. This may seem insignificant but, if ignored, could really throw off your installation and your overall cinema experience. My recommendations is to get a piece of paper and draw out the project using measurements from the floor to each piece, including entertainment cabinets, center channels, sound bars, other mounted equipment, etc… to ensure you get the alignment you paid for. The vertical adjustment mechanism will allow for any flaws in measurement and with mounting different TVs with different mounting hole configurations. The TV mounting frame will also offer adjustment options. My recommendation here is measure for today’s TV and, if known, tomorrow’s TV. For example, if you have a 65” TV today from manufacturer X and you want their 77” TV tomorrow from the same manufacture then you can reasonably assume the mounting holes placement on today’s model will be the same or similar on next year’s model. TV Mounting Bracket: The TV mounting bracket will align and work with any TV I can thinking of at any size between 42” and 90”. The bracket has a series of static, well placed holes along the top half of the vertical mounting bars with a long groove cut out of bottom half. The idea is that the top VESA mounting screws will secure using the statically placed holes and then the bottom of the bracket will automatically accommodate the lower screws regardless of their position as long as they are perfectly vertically aligned with the top holes. The vertical mounting bars will also adjust outward, horizontally, on the frame to accommodate narrow and wide VESA mounting hole positions. The mounting arms are then locked into place using screws. The bracket will then pop into the armature mounting plate with little fuss. Be sure to tilt the TV slightly when mounting the TV to the armature mounting plate. This is so that the TV bracket can latch into place properly. Be sure to screw in the locking screw once the TV is in place. Do not try to tilt the TV forward or back until you lock the screw into place. Otherwise, the TV may fall of the mounting arm. Finally, there is a vertically aligned screw next to the TV bracket locking screw that can be used to level the TV. Final thoughts: The SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount for TVs 42"-90" is well-constructed, heavy, durable, easy to manipulate, and will accommodate every large flat panel TV that I have seen. The height adjustment is a real saving’s grace to help with vertical alignment issues as well as moving from different size TVs. It is not magic, but it is a welcome feature that solves more problems than it creates. If you are in the market for a new TV, and are tired of engaging in a small construction project that accompanies a new TV, then give the SANUS Elite a try. It may be exactly what you have been looking for.

Since we moved into our home we only had floor lamps for the primary lighting in our living room and I always thought it was too dim. I finally put in recessed lights it was like removing sunglasses while indoors... but the then I came to the ugly realization that recessed lights glare badly onto the 65" TV on our console. We worked around it by always turning down the lights and using an ambient backlight but sometimes that isnt enough light. Some TVs can swivel at the base to angle it left or right which would be nice to be able to see the TV from our dining room or when sitting off to the other side of the living room. But my set is on fixed feet that I needed 2 elevate due to my soundbar. I finally decided get a wall mount. My requirements were that it was strong enough to hold up my expensive (to me) tv, can tilt and swivel. This Sanus Elite 4D Shift does all that and more. The whole package comes in a big box. Construction, fit and finish are all sturdy and appear well made instilling confidence to dangle my TV from the wall. Be prepared to call in reinforcements because my wife couldn't help me hold up the TV. Installing the mount took me about 40mins from bringing the box to my living room to hanging the TV on the wall. With the use of laser level (bubble level would work just as well) and stud finder, I figured out where I wanted to mount wall bracket and started busting some holes in the wall. A good impact driver will make short work of driving those lag bolts. I also put in an in-wall cable pass through down to the rear of our TV console to keep wires from being exposed along the exterior of the wall. The cable management routing in the arms kept the 3 wires I needed going to the back of my TV even tidier. Once my extra set of enlisted hands and I got the TV mounted, I couldn't be happier with how it turned out and how well the mount works and moves. Movements bringing it away from the wall swiveling it left and right and tilting it is all very fluid. TV doesn't jiggle when my kid is jumping around in front of it. I can fully extend the TV from the wall and easily see it from our dining room or can sit on any couch in our living room and have the TV facing me wherever I am sitting. The only thing that would make this more advanced is if it followed me on its own... although that sounds a little creepy. The best part of the wall mount is being able to slightly tilt it downward completely eliminated the recessed light glare! That alone makes the Sanus Elite worth the price. I realize there are less expensive mounts out there, but between the sturdy build quality, fluid movement, adjustability and wide range of motion I'd buy it again and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to anyone with a larger TV looking 2 mount it on their wall.

This SANUS Elite wall mount (Model BLF528-B1) is a solid and hefty piece of equipment. I was surprised just how heavy this was – the shipping weight was 53 lbs. The installation of the wall mount is not difficult provided you have the right tools and know how to use them. While I have plenty of experience with DIY, this was the first TV wall mount I’ve installed. And I spent a good amount of time ensuring my stud finder was accurate. In fact, the first set of holes I drilled were unusable because the install screws would stop going in after 3/4 of the way. Of course, none of these issues is a result of SANUS, but the point is be prepared to potentially spend some time on this, including trips to the hardware store if you don’t have the right equipment. Or you could just have someone else do it for you. Once you’re ready to start, the included instructions are fairly straightforward. There is a little bit of trial and error, such as deciding which of the included screws should be used on your TV’s VESA holes. The instructions also have QR code links to videos that are worth watching, though they do not substitute for actually reading the instructions. There’s also a link to a calculator to help you determine how high from the floor the mount should be installed. I recommend viewing that calculator on a computer instead of a phone because it’s easy to make a mistake on the mobile version of that page. When you’re ready to attach the TV to the arm on the wall, I highly recommend having 3 people help, not 2 as the instructions show. The challenge here is that the TV bracket has a lip that must be hooked over an edge on the arm. The fastest and easiest way to do this is to have two people hoist the TV while a third person keeps the arms from swinging and guides the other two to the proper placement. My wife and I tried to do this ourselves, but the arm kept moving out of place, let alone that the TV was too heavy for my wife. Getting a neighbor to help solved the issue easily. What’s great about the mount is you don’t have to be super precise in its placement. After the TV is mounted, there is some wiggle room to lower/raise or tilt the TV as needed. You can also shift the TV left or right on the mount, but this requires taking the TV off the arm. For large or hard to reach TVs, you want to be as close as possible for its lateral installation. Most people are unlikely to move the TV around much once it’s set. But if you do need to, it’s a smooth movement that stays in place nicely wherever you need it to. The design includes a handle that stays tucked behind the TV to assist in swinging it around so you don’t have to smudge the TV or put pressure on the screen. If you’re doing a comparison of this model to others by SANUS, it’s a little bit like mattress shopping where everything sounds the same and is hard discern differences. That said, I have no trouble recommending this one with its quality build and function.

This mount is well built, has every feature I could want in a tv mount, and has ample instructions and customer support ensuring a smooth installation. This mount is made of premium materials like steel and seems like it is very durable. Both the portion that connects to the television and the portion that connects to the wall are very sturdy and inspire confidence that they would be sufficient in holding a large television. Sanus states the mount is rated for 125 pounds and I’d feel comfortable putting that much weight on it. Design-wise, this mount is very well thought out. One of the biggest fears I have when mounting a television (or anything really) is that I’ll mount it in the wrong place. This mount qualms that fear by providing a forgiving margin of error. The mount has +-4 inches of vertical movement, 5º to -15º of tilt, 46º to -46º of swivel, 28" of extension, and leveling adjustments. The movement is not only useful for having a margin of error, it also allows you to angle/raise/lower your TV depending on your room configuration. Even with all of the failsafes to make sure I don’t mess up mounting this thing, Sanus does everything it can to help you have a successful installation. They include an instruction manual and a wall template to help get the perfect mount. In the manual there are also links to a video walkthrough of installation, and a web tool to help you determine what height you should mount the tv at. Both were super helpful. Some other features worth noting. It can sit as close as ~2 inches from the wall so if you’re looking for a streamlined look it can do that. I can see myself leaving it “pulled off” the wall on a daily basis, but then pushing it flush against the wall when I have company over. Also, it has built in cable management which is great if you’re trying to go for a sleek “no cable” look. Likewise, the TV mounting hardware has a handle at the bottom of the TV that allows you to reposition without having to grab onto the sides (which is especially useful if you have a very large television). Overall this is a great mount with every feature I could want and the support/instruction I need when installing a television mount.

With a strong, quality build and features that give you confidence in its form and functionality, the Sanus Elite TV wall mount is a remarkable choice for hanging even the biggest of HDTVs. Right out of the box, you can tell this mount is crafted for style and utility. Its brushed black steel blends nicely with most TVs, while the mount itself is massively weighted and feels extremely durable. And although the unit is very heavy, installation can be a one-person job, depending on the size of your television and your comfort around simple tools and in finding wall studs. My 75" TV, on the other hand, needed an extra pair of hands to do it safely and properly. In all, installation through mounting setup took roughly an hour with a little help from my friend. The Sanus Elite mount is perfect for my entertainment area. With a television so big and a desire to open up the space below, this mount hits all the right notes. It has a cable manager that makes it easy to keep that clean look you desire with a wall-mounted TV. When pushed fully into the wall, the mount leaves as little room as possible to give the display a more decorative feel. When it is pulled out to utilize the different viewing angle possibilities, it is noticeably steady, even with the huge weight of the television and the mounting unit itself. The Sanus Elite doesn't shake or bounce, giving you all the confidence you want without having to think twice about it tilting or losing its position. I appreciate the solid, balanced feel when the TV is pulled out or pushed into starting position. Lastly, the TV can be adjusted on the fly while it is on the mount, so it isn't a pain to keep your screen centered and perfectly straight. This mount checks all the right boxes to clean up your television setup. It looks and feels clean and sturdy and can handle even the biggest flat screens. It provides a full range of viewing angles without sacrificing steadiness. Ultimately, you want a wall mount that you don't have to worry about, and the Sanus Elite full motion wall mount simply gives you the confidence to set it and forget it.
