Got this for my new LG 83-inch G4 that I purchased through Best Buy. It has every feature you could want. What was a real game-changer for me is the ability to adjust the TV height vertically 4 inches up or down AFTER it is mounted on the wall. My TV has to clear my entertainment console and the center channel speaker height, and I wanted to get the bottom of the TV just above the center channel speaker and not any higher. Once mounted I was able to adjust it vertically to the perfect position. It is also great to be able to easily get to the back of the TV for cabling adjustments, light strip mounting, etc. just by moving the TV out from the wall. The mount is sturdy and extremely well built. My one minor caveat, though, is for larger heavy TVs. The level adjustment screw (L) is so close to the center pivot point of the mount that the retention nut shroud above the screw head (that holds the leveling screw nut in place and lets the level function work) bent when we were trying to adjust the leveling, making the leveling screw essentially functionless. When we first mounted it and put the TV on, the right side of the set (as you face it) was sagging significantly below the left side. I'm guessing that some of these large TVs are not equally weighted around their center point and for such a large TV it does put a lot of strain on the leveling mechanism. We were able, however, to get the level straight by manually tilting the set back to horizontal. After doing that it does stay in place now, but I do have to readjust it every time after moving the TV out from the wall. I have contacted Sanus Support and sent them photos, and they felt that my unit had a defect and they are going to replace the mount, no questions asked. Their customer service answering questions about mounting and after mounting is excellent! The design and function of the mount and the quality customer service make this mount well worth the price. So my advice is to definitely get this mount if you need the full motion adjustments. If you are mounting a larger TV, at the point where you are going to adjust the level (page 14 in my manual), follow the instructions to loosen the securement screw (#10) a quarter-turn and then BEFORE you adjust the leveling screw (L) have your partner fully support the weight of the lower side of the TV and THEN adjust the leveling screw so as not to put too much weight on the leveling assembly. Make small level adjustments at a time and then let the set settle and check the level. This is not made clear in the instructions. If this is done, I doubt you will have any problems and really enjoy all the features of this mount.

The absolute best mount you can possibly buy for your TV….End of story. I use it not only for my Nintendo switch, but also my PC for when I want to have a very in-depth dinosaur hunt on prehistoric hunt. The ease of use & the entire OS system is phenomenal. Coming from somebody who works on PCBA’s on a daily basis as a repair technician for server motherboards, AI acceleration cards & satellite motherboards.

We are very happy with this product. We bought a new Samsung TV and this bracket was easy to mount on the wall and has held our TV and makes it easy to move the TV to see from our eating area and kitchen and move back to view in the family room. It is well made and heavy duty. We had the Geeks from Best Buy’s put it up. It was easy to affix to the wall. They did an excellent job. I highly recommend you buy this bracket mount.

Sanus has been in the TV mount business longer than most other companies who manufacture similar products. This has given them an edge in how to build some of the best products on the market. As I needed a mount for a 55" TV which weighs more than a bag of bricks, I went with the Sanus Elite Full-Motion 4D+SHIFT TV Mount. And boy was it an adventure. Before I get into the mounting, you have to know that the box is very big and quite heavy (50lbs+). I would advise to get someone to give you a hand as it's almost impossible to install on your own, especially with a bigger sized TV. This being said, let's check out what's in the box and the installation process. The box contains 3 main parts. The first is the wall mount bracket, the second is the actual arm and the last one is the TV "harness". The package contains mounting screws and bolts, spacers to accommodate certain odd shaped screens and a short but well written installation guide. You can also use the links provided to view installation videos which will definitely resonate with people who prefer a more visual help. I should also mention the provided template which allows you to make sure your mount is level and hits the studs (if you're mounting on a hollow wall). The installation process is very simple and mostly easy. The first step is to mount the support harness on your TV's VESA mounting holes. This takes less than 5 minutes. The second thing you'll want to do is to secure the wall mount bracket. Be aware that the bolts to secure the screen to the wall are massive. You will need a socket wrench or an impact driver to get them into the wall. Since I was using the studs in the wall to mount, it took a while to get them all the way in. That took about 15-20 minutes. Once mounted to the wall, it's on there really, really good, which can no doubt support a very big TV. Something I found very classy were the plastic covers over the mount which hide all the bolts and rails, leaving you with a clean installation. The next thing is to attach the swivel arm. This is another 5 minutes tops. Make sure to secure the arm according to the manual. The arm will hold the brunt of the weight, so make sure it's on there right. Last step is to attach the TV to the arm, which takes another 5 minutes at best. That's it! It took us about 30 minutes in total to get everything up and running. Once mounted, I was amazed at how flexible this baby is. Up, down, left, right, up, down, angled, you choose. I really have to give Sanus a big thumbs up. They've managed to make the installation of a TV wall mount not only fairly simple, but also solid as a rock. I'm pretty confident that before the mount comes off, it'll take the entire wall with it. That's how secure this thing is. Even if this Elite product from Sanus isn't the most affordable one, it's cheaper than having to purchase a new TV because the cheaper one couldn't handle the weight. Frankly, I would recommend the Sanus Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount to everyone. A great piece of hardware!

Wow, this Sanus 4D full motion mount is huge! I have two Sanus VLT6 mounts which, like this mount, can also accommodate televisions up to 90-inches. The major difference is, this mount has full rotation and viewing adjustment capability whereas the VLT6 mounts have much more limited movement consisting of basically forward, back, tilt up, or down. The VLT6’s are also significantly smaller than this full motion mount. I’ve installed several Sanus mounts previously, so I’m familiar with the process. Sanus provides comprehensive installation guides, templates, and several helpful QR code links to aid with installation. They even provide a helpful installation walkthrough on their website that can even help determine the optimal placement height based upon the make and model television. I rounded up the usual necessary tools (drill, pencil, level, screwdriver, and socket set), found the wall studs, verified and marked the stud centers, leveled and drilled the four mounting holes, bolted the wall plate to the wall using a 13mm socket, and attached the arm assembly to the wall bracket via the hook and two locking screws. My television delivery was delayed, so I won’t be able to attach it to the mount until later this week. However, the mount is installed, the arm travels smoothly, and the mount feels solid, sturdy and more than capable of handling the 65-inch OLED TV heading my way. Assembly was easy but also a little aggravating. The first time I lifted the bracket to the wall, the top plastic cover snapped off, causing me to lose my grip and nearly drop the heavy bracket onto my foot. I kept the plastic piece detached during the remainder of the mounting as a precaution. Afterwards, when I snapped the plastic piece back on, the words were upside down. This makes me wonder if I may have installed the bracket upside down. The bracket doesn’t seem to have a definitive up or down and it looks fine on the wall. The arm fits perfectly and moves fine, and both plastic pieces actually also fit and function fine. Everything looks and works normal, so I won’t worry about the minor aesthetics of some tiny barely noticeable words that will be mostly blocked by the television anyhow. Not worth removing four long bolts that took some major elbow grease to get locked down tight. I even suspect the two plastic pieces may even be interchangeable and what I’m seeing is normal.

This is the best TV mount that I have ever owned. It is both heavy-duty and flexible, which makes it nothing short of outstanding. Sanus makes the best TV mounts out there, and this model lives up to that reputation. It is expensive, but if you want the best then look no further. The first thing I noticed was how heavy the box is. Which makes sense because to hold a large TV on an extended arm requires a high amount of material strength. The process of mounting the TV is very straightforward. Attach the bracket to your TV, attach the plate to the wall, and then hang the TV on the arm. Sanus includes a large selection of different screw sizes and lengths. Also included are drywall anchors. I am using this mount with a 75 inch TV, so I opted to hire a handyman to handle the mounting. I could have handled most of the process by myself, but I would not have been able to safely handle the physical lifting and hanging of the TV by myself. Total installation time was about 2 hours. Within the arm is a shallow cavity for wire management. I am using a single HDMI cable to my TV, so it is more than sufficient for my needs, The physical operation of the mount feels unbelievably smooth, considering how large and heavy the TV is. I am effortlessly able to extend the TV in and out. The month can also tilt forward. I absolutely love the 28 inch extension capability because I prefer to be as close to the TV as I can. I mounted my TV exactly where I wanted it to be, centered on the wall, but this mount can also allow the TV position to be adjusted vertically and horizontally. The TV can be vertically raised or lowered up to 4 inches by loosening a screw. Horizontal adjustment is also possible but requires taking the TV off the mount. I am thrilled with this Sanus TV mount! It strongly and securely holds my TV on the wall. The TV looks great on the wall while both extended or flush. It is also intelligently designed to offer the maximum amount of flexibility possible. This is hands down the best TV mount currently on the market.

Excellent experience mounting both the mount to the wall and the TV to the mount. Directions that are easy to follow. Very heavy and very heavy duty. Easy to move the TV in all directions, and the ability to crank the TV higher or lower really lets you dial in the position perfectly. Its a bit spendy, but you get what you pay for, and this is a top notch product. It made mounting my 85" Sony X90L easy (with another person to help set the TV onto the mount)

If you want a TV mount that lets the TV sit close to the wall, this one does it. If you need the flexibility to move the TV around and pull it far from the wall, you can do that too. It is very flexible with set-up and positioning, since you can move the TV quite a bit in all directions after it is on the wall. Like all TV mounts, you should still take your time mounting it and ensure everything is positioned correctly, but once done, you do have a lot of flexibility to set the TV just right. I have a 77” LG GX OLED, which came with a flush mount wall mount that I used for the last 3 years, and while it looks great on the wall since it sits full flush, it lacks quite a bit of flexibility. Thankfully, this Sanus wall mount satisfies all of my problems, with almost no downsides. Set-up was fairly straight forward, but does require some patience and intuition to make sure it fits your space well. I highly recommend watching the recommended video tutorials, as the paper instructions are primarily just a bunch of images you need to interpret. It definitely requires two people to properly set-up, but there is quite a lot of flexibility in terms of placement. I used two wood studs, and the mount is wide enough that I could easily center it on my wall without issue. From there, getting the mount frame on the TV was very easy with the included hardware, and connecting the TV to the mount with the arm was also very easy. I have a larger TV, but in general 3 people are recommended, so you can have two line-up the TV while one guides and puts the final screw in place to keep the TV fixed on the arm. Once set-up, adjustments are very easy. There is a handle on the back that doubles as both a screw which you can twist to move the TV up or down 4”, as well as a handle to actually move the TV around. With a couple of provided hex wrenches, you can easily left/right shift the TV between the studs and rotate the TV so it sits level. So while extending/contracting, tilting, swiveling the TV can all be done very easily, some of the 2D adjustments do require using the included tools, which you may want to keep close, at least for the first few days until you get it positioned just right. Once all done though, there really is very little to complain about. The mount is sturdy, noiseless, very flexible, discrete, and all around high-quality. The only thing I would say is a flaw is the cable management, which has you route the cables through channels in the arms. For me though, these were not really usable since I have braided HDMI cables which were too thick to close the channel covers. Thankfully, I found that if I routed the cables below and behind the arms, even with the TV fully compressed, the cables had enough space to fit behind the arms without being crushed. My advice is to be very cognizant of where you will be routing your cables prior to installing the TV, if you are routing cables through the wall. If you are not routing them through the wall, then this may be a non-issue for you. On the whole though, this is a fantastic mount. Yes it is pricier, but you do get what you pay for. It can do almost anything you need a TV mount to do, and does it very well. It is sturdy, quiet, flexible, and very secure. Highly recommended.

The SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount is a beast of a mount for larger TVs. It excels in providing a secure and exceptional flexibility for TVs between 42 to 90 inches. I’m an avid DIYer with some years of experience, however the installation process seemed more complex than I expected, primarily due to the mount's weight at about 50 pounds and the number of components involved. To prioritize durability and strength, SANUS built it like a tank; a mix of premium-grade metal and hard plastics that supports TVs up to 125 pounds. For a successful installation, a stud finder and a level are a must as well as a helping hand due to the sheer size of the mount. The instructions were clear, demanding attention to detail, definitely not for beginners. In the end, due to a recently sustained hand injury, I had it professionally installed by two members of the Geek Squad. The outcome was a sturdy and professional-looking setup. This TV mount stands out with its great range of motion. I have a 65-inch TV attached to it and I’m so impressed with its smoothness that it feels effortless. It can tilt, swivel, and has extending capabilities that ensure additional viewing angles in any room. The "SHIFT" in its name is a feature that allows for precise horizontal adjustments, especially if wall studs are misaligned. It not only works as advertised; it works very well. I've installed several wall mounts myself and this Sanus Elite was, by far, the easiest to do. Fixing to the wall was as easy as it comes, with plenty of latitude to center the TV while ensuring the installation is screwed into the wall's studs. Mounting the TV's part was simplicity itself, and placing the prepared TV onto the wall-mounted portion was literally as easy as setting a hook onto a metal edge. The mount also makes it very easy to move the TV throughout its range of motion; it moves much more easily than other mounts I've used and tried. I don't give five stars often, but this item warrants it.

I purchased this TV mount solely for the flexibility to be able to raise the TV or lower it after it had been mounted. It’s not the cheapest TV mount, but the quality is great, and it is extremely easy to move and rotate with just your fingertips. I also like the fact that the back of the mount is mostly open to access a media box that I have mounted in the wall behind it.

We bought a Sony 75 in TV around New Years. Hooked it up to our old wall mount that was rated for 125 lbs. While the wall mount its self held on to the wall okay, the swivel part couldn't handle the weight of the TV. Bought this SANUS Elite to replace it, and it works like a dream. I like that it has 3in lag screws instead of the 2in ones my old TV mount had. Also, the 4D movement is really easy to move around.
