I did not have much time to shop for a shelf. I went to Best Buy and they only had one, the one I bought. It looks good. The shelf is not as sturdy as a previous shelf I have in another room but it does the job. I have the shelf under the TV with the verizon box on it.

This is a solid shelf to hold a DVD player, cable box or in my case both. Makes for a very clean look just under a wall mounted flat scree tv. Has a channel that conceals the wires. I wish it were 3-4 inches less deep. Most components are not very beep these days.

We ended up returning this item as we found a stand on the ground that we liked better. The shelves seemed very nice though and if you are looking for a way to mount to the wall and hide cords from the TV to electronics this would work well. You still have to remember to run the cords through the wall for the electrical outlet.
