The sliding motion requires a lot of force and is not even. With all the warnings given to not squeeze the TV during installation I feel like i am risking damage every time I adjust it. On top of this the TV does not stay level as the quick attach joint is very loose.

So after a week and numerous times trying to pull the tv out to set things up behind it, I’ve learned that the mechanics of the mount are very underwhelming. The tv swivels way too easily but when it comes to pulling the tv out it’s nearly impossible. I have a 75” LG mounted and it’s such a struggle for me to pull it out and push it in. If I were able I would have bought the next step up for mounts. But once, cry once ..

You have to very intentionally force the device to move into the position you want. I reached out to Sanus and they stated that is intended. The device is more of a “one and done” sort of setup, with room for minor adjustments or angling. Absolutely not suitable for situations where articulation is required. I genuinely wished I had gotten another mount.

Couple of things I can think of for ya here that might help. You could try greasing the track. Another thing that you could try is to loosening the lower lag bolt on the side with the stuck arm. Sometimes when installed the lag bolt holes are drilled to narrow, pinching the wall plate together when installed. Loosening the lag bolt about one turn might help relieve this compression.

I cannot get this thing to stay level, it constantly wants to tilt (77' TV). It is also not nearly as flush to the wall as claimed, especially with the Sanus Soundbar mount. Save your money and get a lower priced mount.

Sorry to hear that. That is very frustrating. Have you tried the post-install level adjustments? There is a screw on the back of the mount that can be adjusted with a hex key. Also, the tilt can be adjusted with a hex key as well. Both adjustments are illustrated on pages 24 and 25 of the install manual.

I've got the Samsung 82" Led tv mounted with this, I've tried to tighten up the mount so it wouldn't swing, but it still moves on it's own. Very clunky! I've paid much less for large mounts and I've been more satisfied with other options! Way over priced!!!

In addition the installer drilled extra holes in the wall since he didn’t find both studs first. The installer also unilaterally decided by his self on the height of the mount.

It was hard to install and it is incredibly hard to pull out the TV and push tv back to wall. The mounts I've purchased in the past were less than $50 so I expected this mount which was over $150 to work great. I wish I could take it back :(

Sorry to hear install was difficult. What steps were the most difficult we are always looking for ways to improve. I do have an idea for the mount being difficult to push in. Does it feel like on side is more difficult than the other? If so you could try to loosen the lower lag bolt on the stuck side about one turn which might help relive the compression.
