Be very careful when installing

Not the bracket that goes on the wall, but the one that's between the wall and TV bracket. Very high chance of getting your fingers pinched. Tilt function didn't work well on a 82" Samsung. Ended up bypassing the tilt; thank goodness for the magnet that holds it on the wall mount when on the flat position.

The movement of this one is horrible. The old on I could adjust with one finger. This one gets stuck and I can barely move it with both hands. I could have spent less for the same performance

The mount is so stiff that it's difficult to pull out and you feel like you'll crack the screen. It's better for old school thicker TVs than the ultra thin ones. I mounted this on a 65 inch and the TV is so big that the full motion is useless. In the store the mount is easy to move because so many people moved it in the past and loosened it up but you probably will never get to this point at home.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble moving the mount. A couple of things that might help here. You can try greasing the tack. Another is to loosen the lower lag bolt on the side with the stuck arm. Sometimes when these are installed, the lag bolt holes are drilled to narrow, pinching the wall plate together. Loosening the lag bolt about one turn might help relieve this compression.

I have a 75 inch tv ! 1. I am not able to maintain the tilt , every time I tilt the tv down to reduce glare - it reverts back to straight position . 2. Once you pull out the mount , it’s very hard to push it back. Very hard to use the motion. You will have nightmare to set up and move tv after install ! Very unhappy with this - won’t recommend this to anyone. Don’t buy !

Sorry to hear that. Have you tried adjusting the post-install tilt adjusment? Adjusting the tilt knob should help. If that doesn't work, using a hex key on that same tension knob should do the trick. All of this is available for reference on page 25 of the IM.

Too short

Does not correctly hold the TV upright.

Even after having a professional installer work on it, we were unable to get the TV to be vertical. We also tried shimming it some. We were using it on a 77" Sony. Do NOT buy this if you want the TV to be vertical. I was disappointed since the sales person recommended this mount. The store did not care the product was defective, only that I was past the return policy, so they stuck me with it.

Sorry to hear that install was tough. If possible it is recommended to have someone help with install as that will help with the weight of the mount and the TV. Also if you have it properly installed into two studs it should be able to hold the weight of your TV no problem as longs as it's under the mounts 125lbs weight limit. It doesn't have the best range, and is a little clunky as far as movement. Would have expected more for the price. BUT, hey... the thing is mounted on the wall and it hasn't fallen down. So there's that.

Not a very good mount

It doesn't move forward and backward easier unless you have a 7 foot wing span and 6' 5" to hold the top of the TV and the bottom and move it back and forth.

Not great if you TV isn't centered

There isn't much wiggle room with this system and it isn't easy to install. Spend a few bucks more for the better/easier to use model.
