Perfect for Large TVs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works amazing for my 75" LG TV in the living room. It easily turns any direction as needed so I can even see it from the kitchen it angles so well. I would definitely buy it again for another room if needed.

Too many problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is heavy, bulky and hard to move. Bought the box and it is heavy. Setup is complicated and needs attention. Also easy to break if not handled with care If you want a slim wall mount take the Model BLFS420-B1. It is a lower profile, same price & tv support, and lighter.

Works fine once mounted, but painful to install!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This model does not have mounting bolt slots cut across the full width as most of their units do. Unless the center of the mount falls almost perfectly between two wall studs, you must either drill holes in the mount yourself or mount the unit off center (the company's recommendation.) I didn't need to ask my wife if having the TV several inches off center over the fireplace was OK so I drilled new plate holes. This real pain would have been completely unnecessary if they had just provided mounting slots all the way across. If the center of your mount is more than 3 inches from being centered between wall studs, you'll have to drill the plate to center the mount.

Sanus wall mount
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's hard to slide V PANEL on the rails from the flat mount on the wall to extend it out from wall or to push it back flat on the wall. The rocketfish wall mount is easier to slide but is restricted by the width of panel to nail on wall depending on location of 2 by 4 studs.

Unmovable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for a 65" tv thinking it was a higher-end mount because I wanted to do the job right. Mounting was fine but it has 2 major problems. 1. The horizontal tilt to ensure the tv is level is not good enough to hold exactly where you want it. I would find the level position, tighten the adjustment and it would always have about a 1/2" (at the tv's edge) of movement afterwards. Even though the mount was perfectly level on the wall, the tv was never exactly where it needed to be. This may not be a problem if the tv doesn't have any level reference points around it but mine was mounted over the mantle which made the difference very noticeable. 2. To move the tv away from and closer to the wall was so difficult that it turned into a fixed mount for me. When I called Sanus customer service they were aware of this issue and simply said "the weight of the tv makes the mount difficult to move." Probably something they should have resolved in my opinion...

Mount does click in to secure
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First mount I purchased was broken out of box. I fully installed the second mount only to find out the bottom part does not click on to secure. I called Sanus and was told it is a known issue. No resolution and all they could tell me was that the engineers are working on it. Some may have success but I'd steer clear of this mount all together for now.

Not good for large tv's
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 5 of these mounts for my new tv's. I mounted 2 of them on my 75 and 65 inch tv's and returned the rest of the mounts. The mounts are extremely heavy and a pain to put together to finally mount on the tv/wall. They are really not user friendly on the 75" LED tv I bought from Best Buy. I can't pull the mount out by pulling on the tv. I have to go behind he tv and move the mounting arms in order to mover the tv outward or at an angle. Also the tilt is not user friendly. It is either straight view (when the magnet is connected) or down at whatever degree(can't find the degree anywhere; makes a difference if it is 5 or 15 degrees on that large of tv), so either up or down. I would buy a different mount but then would need to fill fill the holes on the wall this one made and would just be a nuisance to take off he mount I already took 3 hours to put up. Very disappointed in the product.

Slim but hard to move
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just installed this yesterday and the mount has definite drawbacks to functionality. The tv mount is very sturdy and when flat is very flat against the wall. But the arms on this unit are extremely hard to move or position. You have to reach behind the tv in order to position the tv away from the wall by pulling on the arms. If I hadn't already drilled into the wall and installed the unit I would return it to the store, still contemplating doing this since its so hard to move. Suggest looking for another style of mount that doesn't require the use of sliders by Sanus to avoid this problem.

Good product for motion but glitch on dismount fea
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this tv mount for our 75” Samsung from Best Buy in 2018 and generally were happy with range of motion. We decided we wanted to raise mount after installation by Geek Squad so followed directions and pulled down on cord to release tv but it immediately dropped to floor. Wish this was specified in manual as we learned an expensive lesson.

Not sure it’s best at this price point
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first (very) expensive wall mount. I’ll start by saying I did get it on sale but even at the sale price, not sure it’s worth it. I have a Sony Bravia 65” and it’s just not hanging as sturdy as I’d hope to. The instruction are written well and have helpful videos too. But for the price, I think it should be more sturdy and tilt more.

NICE MOUNT BUT TERRIBLE HARDWARE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I opted to purchase this Sanus mount because I wanted a quality product and had previously used Sanus with no issues. While the mount itself is as advertised my issue is with the hardware it came with. The lag screws included were a huge issue. 3 of 4 screws broke when attempting installation. Had to go to my local hardware store to purchase stainless steel screws that completed the job. I expect more from a product at this price point.

Poor design
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very well made mount with one simple fatal flaw. The holes for the bolts do not give you enough options for mounting the tv in the exact location you want. Why they did not put more bolt holes toward the edges and center I have no idea. If you want to mount this in the center of a wall and the stud is also in the center then this mount will not work for you. And unlike other mounts there is no lateral adjustment. I have mounted probably 10 TVs and this is the first time I have ever had this issue. Poor design testing. Save yourself some time and headache and pick a different mount from Sanus or someone else.

East to install but that's where it ends
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this mount for my new 65" Sony 900. Easy to install on the wall and seemed to work well until the TV was installed on the mount. With the 2 panel plates comes 2 points of contact on each panel which move from left to right. Once some weight was applied the panels bind up and it is almost impossible to move the TV from front to back. The posts on the plates run along a track so when the weight of the TV is applied the posted do not run smoothly or at all to move the forward and backwards. I called Sanus and the told me to get some graphite powder for the tracks but that did nothing. I work at Best Buy and sell Home Theater products and will never recommend this product.
