We had a very specific place in our living room we wanted the TV to be and to get it there, we needed it to rotate a specific way. This mount only made 4 holes in our wall and sits perfectly.

Not a good idea for a heavy TV with metal studs

That amount of weight extended is not a good idea. So, did not install it.

Yes we do not recommend full motion mounts with steel studs as they can interfere with the integrity of the stud over time. If you have steel studs, we'd recommend our BLT series of tilt mounts. Please call us at 800-359-5520 for further guidance.
