However, the movement is quite stiff and it was difficult to pull out and move the screen to the desired location. I ended up buying their higher end mount and used this one on a TV that I do not need to move as much.

While I'm glad that you were still able to find a mount that worked for you, I'm sorry that this did not provide the ease of adjustment you needed. This should get easier with use but I will be sure to make a note of this for the future.

Extremely versatile allows multiple positioning in all directions. Tilts for glare and swings out far if needed, forward and/or left and right. Lays flat against wall if preferred.

I then returned it for the sanus brand and it worked a lot better. There are also bigger brackets that help any tv that you would want to hang up on the wall.

I mounted a 70" above my fireplace and I thought I was going to break the TV if I tried pushing it back to the wall. The individual sliding arms are not designed for a TV that is mounted high, and even with nothing attached they were difficult to move as though the track was 1/16th of an inch too narrow. For the price of this mount you shouldn't have any problems moving the TV to and from any position.

Thank you for taking the time to review. I am sorry that you are experiencing some difficulty in recessing the mount. This should get easier with time but we also suggest using graphite powder.
