I had a finder and sought to find the wooden beams and marked the wallpaper. But all of this was only for myself because the installer repeated the steps and installed, no problems. Thank you.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the mount seems to be very sturdy I’m only rating it as fair due to how difficult this mount is to use as “Full Motion.” The extension arms are on tracks and do not fully extend very easily and it is near impossible to turn the tv back to the non-extended position against the wall. I purchased a 75” Samsung QN90 and I’m exchanging the mount since returning the tv/mount to the flush position requires you to strain the tv. Thankfully I had Geek Squad delivery and mount my tv since I refuse to push the tv back for fear of breaking it. This mount is exceptionally sturdy but should not be used for any of the newer, very thin tvs as it requires more force than those tvs should have put on them.

Thank you for your review. While I'm glad this is keeping your TV safe and steady, I'm sorry that this is difficult to adjust. Make sure you are loosening the tension screws on each joint before doing this. Also, this should get easier with use.

I'm sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with this mount. The amount of swivel will depend on the size of your TV, but rest assured that the mount will safely hold your TV in place. It has been UL listed to withstand 4x as much weight as the recommended limit.

One single vertical attachment in the middle hard to properly hold a 70 inch tv. And requires placement of outlets above or below the mount, confirmed by Sanus support on phone call. Most mounts allow for placement within the structure for a cleaner look which also would not interfere with tilt. Is doing the job but disappointing.
