I am sorry that this is a little difficult to adjust. While it should get easier over time, We also suggest using graphite powder to loosen it up.

However, the wall mount will not allow my tv to go against the wall as advertised. The mount is stuck in the extended position. The company did replace the arm after explaining everything over the phone. It took 2 calls to customer service to resolve the issue. But it was a lot of trouble for the price.
