We were in a pinch and had to buy one in store. 24 hours after installing a "cheaper" mount - it is pretty obvious that the "cheap" mount was not of the same quality and ease of this one. You get what you pay for... this is a good mount.

The arms slide on plastic feet inside a metal track. It is impossible to move slides with a TV mounted to the arms. When I called Sanus about this issue they recommended that I inject graphite powder onto the tracks. No only did this not work but it created an amazing mess. Have you ever tried to clean up graphite powder ? I called Sanus again and said they should take this product off of the market. It's a design disaster. For the money they charged they should have used heavy duty ball bearings. What a waste of time.

When the tv is pulled out from the wall, the support arms are at a high angle to the wall, and become very stiff to move. you would have to push harder than I am comfortable doing to my 65" TV to make the mount retract. In my opinion, the mount is badly designed, but well made. Look at the Sanus website for the specific blf213 product reviews. Because this is a Best Buy specific product, it is hard to find. Spend your money somewhere else.
