We contacted Samsung and Thor solution was WD40. After taking the mount down and spraying it, it still won’t alide easily even without the tv on it. Don’t waste your money if the main feature you’re looking for is mobility.

I'm sorry to hear about he issue with the mobility on this mount. I would not recommend WD40 but rather adjusting the tension screws on the top of each joint. Instead of contacting Samsung, try contacting us at Sanus direct for more tips at 800-359-5520. This should also get easier with use.

I did drill it into the studs but honestly, I was too afraid to hang the tv on it. It just seemed too flimsy for me and didn't wanna risk breaking the tv.
