We contacted Samsung and Thor solution was WD40. After taking the mount down and spraying it, it still won’t alide easily even without the tv on it. Don’t waste your money if the main feature you’re looking for is mobility.

I'm sorry to hear about he issue with the mobility on this mount. I would not recommend WD40 but rather adjusting the tension screws on the top of each joint. Instead of contacting Samsung, try contacting us at Sanus direct for more tips at 800-359-5520. This should also get easier with use.

However, it is hard to adjust in or out, gonna try some WD40. But be warned that the tilt down feature is very minimal. And any adjustments must be made by moving the mount itself (which isn’t easy); you can’t do it by moving the TV.

You have to pull or push holding both sides of the tv to adjust. Useless to me other than for mounting. If I want it rotated I have to get someone to do it for me.
