There are a bunch of ways to attach your Apple TV box to either your TV, TV wall mount, or wall. This addon device by Sanus is one of the more costly approaches, but probably the most robust. I wasn’t able to get it to connect like Sanus recommended - but honestly, there are so many holes in this thing you are bound to be able to figure out a way to tie your Apple TV box to your TV Mount. I used zip ties and anchors to route the cables on the back of the TV so they remained out of the way. It’s a bit pricey, but it is strong. This attachment tool works well with the LG C1 as you can mount the Apple TV above the thicker part of the TV - see my photo.

The plate itself is made of thick gage metal so it is very sturdy. There are hooks on the side that slips into a slot on my television wall mount for a secure attachment when combined with the included anchor screw. Lots of slots allow for mounting the included Velcro mounting straps so a variety of items can be strapped to the plate behind the TV and out of site (for example, my Roku Ultra). The only downside that I see is that it is overpriced for what it is.

This was easy to install, holds my TV securely, and has the perfect range of motion for me to enjoy at any angle within my room. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Have you purchased an Apple TV or like-sized (5” x5” x3” ish) streaming box that you did not know what to do with. Can’t have them be all dangling from the HDMI’s! Well, stop thinking such an apocalyptic future.. (We don’t want to use foam tape to stick expensive devices onto other devices. Well I don’t) Now you get to put them in a box and screw it to the back of your TV, considering the TV has a wall mount and wall mount is not using all the screw holes, because you guessed it, it comes with screws, lots for every size needed! Wait. Why not just have a plastic box with lots of air holes & very tight clamps? Don’t ask. I think it would have been so much easier, less waste and overall- go find another model my cord-hating friend. This thing is for the way over confident worried consumer thinking a 3 pound weight is a good idea to hold a 1/2 pound Streaming device. Lotta R&D on this one folks. **IMO**

Phenomenal accessory, hides anything you want, easy installation, and super durable. I use it for my Roku.

This mount works perfectly to hold my Apple TV on the back of my TV! It’s sturdy, easy to install, and keeps everything organized without any clutter. My Apple TV stays securely in place, and it looks neat and tidy. A must-have for anyone wanting to save space and stay organized!

If you have a Sanus wall mount for your TV, and you should, then this little add-on will come in handy. I like to hide wires, and keep the setup as clean as possible. One way to do that is to mount your streaming box or cable/satellite box behind the TV where it can't be seen...and that is what this is for. Simply strap your box (I used an Apple TV) to this bad boy and lock it into your Sanus wall mount and you are good to go. If your cables are too long, loop them up and strap them to one of the empty mounting holes. Most streaming boxes these days use RF frequencies for the remote, so you don't need to actually point the remote at the box...so you might as well hide the box. Also, it keeps you from having to fish HDMI cables through the wall when you don't have to. Plug everything in behind the TV and you are set.

I bought this to mount an Apple TV behind a wall mounted TV to keep the cables hidden. The provided slots were useful to secure the device with Velcro straps and I was able to mount it to the TV with the bracket screws. It’s a little expensive for a piece of metal, but more convenient than making something myself.

I purchased a Samsung UN50RU7100FXZA LED TV and a Sanus BLT2-B1 Premium Wall Mount for our enclosed patio, and I was wondering how I could mount my satellite box behind it. Well, Sanus makes this little number for just that purpose. It includes two Velcro-like straps to secure the box to the bracket. Since it's a universal mount, it takes a little trial and error to find the best way to secure the bracket to your specific mount, TV, and cable/stream box combination. Otherwise, it's a great solution. Thank you Sanus, and thank you Best Buy!

Used this Sanus small accessory panel with my Sanus tv mount to hide my Apple TV behind the tv. It works wonderfully. I am able to hide the streaming device and all cords making my installation look clean.

I didn't even know this was an option for my mouth when I bought it at Best Buy. I was looking for something to mount on the wall to hold my evolution kit for my Samsung HDTV. Works OK. I'm not sure this is better than other options and is pricier. One advantage is this attaches with bolts to the mount rather than a sticky pad.

Doesn't fit perfectly to the mount I have of the back of the tv but it is universal and will fit some mounts better than others. This is the second one I have purchased because it works well enough to hold a directv genie receiver. I would recommend this product

Used with my Sanus TV mount to hide my Roku Ultra box, which worked out fine. IMO it would be even more useful if it was machined with a few small hooks to aid in tucking away the cables and power cords. I used some extra velcro straps but it was a challenge to keep them in place.

Using this with a short HDMI cable keeps the install really nice & clean behind the television. My Roku 4 fit it perfect so there's no more stuffing it between the mount & wall or TV which sometimes caused interference so the remote wouldn't pick up. It also gives easy access to the Roku to unplug for a hard reset or adding an SD card.

I own 2 of these. 1 for each of my TV mounts and have Roku Ultra's attached to them. Keeps things nice and clean. Tip, if you are installing a Roku, make sure the IR is facing away from the inside of the TV. I thought my Roku was broke for a couple days, then I changed the orientation.
