This item is exactly what I was looking for. Clips to my shirt and allows me to be hands free and there is almost no wind noise while outside.

Definitely not for you average consumer, you'll need other purchases to make this work well, but the mic itself if impressive. As i was testing i could hear things in the recording i couldn't even hear while i was recording

Guess it works. Doesn't really sound much better than just recording audio through my phone mic.

The microphone captures a lot of environmental noises. Difficult to hear the original sound. Furthermore, it stopped working within 6 months of purchase.

It's okay if you sray still, but moving around too much will cause noise and static sounds.

Looks good... good idea.... TERRIBLE sound quality... I may have just got a "lemon"... But I will never buy one of these again.

I didnt see a difference on sound when i used it on my gopro and on my phone, i had to return it...

I really wanted to like this product because it's a simple plug and play that I was going to use with my phone. Sadly the actual sound the microphone records isn't good. Bad with wind, it's noisy, and audio records too loud/high. Maybe it was just this specific one I got, who knows...

The microphone is so sensitive the sound is almost unintelligible. I'm using a Motorola g 5G phone with the Saramonic LavMicro U3A. Using various apps, including the Saramonic app, the microphone must be moved at least 12 inches away from the speaker in order to understand him or her. Background noise is extremely loud. I can turn down the level on some apps, but the distortion and background noise remains the same. It is like recording with a McDonald's drive-thru microphone from 1968. No way to adjust.
