Great value for the price. Not clean and perfect but will help in recording what was needed in the interview.

I found myself in a bind recently when I left my portable microphone at home and had an important assignment to complete. Thankfully, Best Buy came to the rescue! As soon as I walked in, a friendly staff member immediately asked if I needed any assistance. She promptly guided me to the microphone section, where I found exactly what I needed. I purchased a portable microphone that turned out to be incredibly easy to use—truly plug and play! While the sound quality in the final audio wasn't stellar, it served its purpose well enough for my assignment. Overall, Best Buy's quick and helpful service made the experience smooth and stress-free. If you need a quick tech solution, I recommend giving them a visit!

it is good product and good qualify of sound. It is not direct to this product but smartphone audio in general. Smartphone is lacking of capability to separate audio input and output to different devices/direction. It very much limited use of microphone directly built for smartphone. To be very clear, once you plug in microphone to the phone, it will direct audio playback to lighting connector. It will result in you can't hear playback and only recording. It is also not possible to direct audio playback via bluetooth/airplay while enabled microphone for recording. Essentially this is only can be used for record a PODCAST or purely live capture an event. It is not possible to do any vocal, meeting which requires either interactive playback or music in the background. Again it is not limitation of the product but smartphone vendors.

Plug and Play on your smart phone. I used it first in a voice memo and it makes the sound more crisp and loud. I like the swivel action. I wish there was an app for more sound control.

This product works well for most applications. I would caution anyone utilizing at a live rock concert. I recently attended a live rock show and the sound was incredibly clean but very powerful. I was seated up close to the stage and the few songs that we did test drive the microphone on turned out to be over-driven and distorted. I didn't notice the sensitivity specs of the mic until after the show. Maybe if I were seated roughly 30 yards back, the audio would have been cleaner. Just a word of caution for concert goers.

I bought this to help with doing Facebook Live video of our events, since my phone doesn't pickup sound from people in front of me very well. I've only used this four times, but it works wonderfully! So simple to use, just plug it into the charging port of my iPhone and it's good to go. It swivels forward and back to face the direction you need and it has made my video sound much clearer.

Mic works - improves the audio quality BUT there is no speaker within. As much as I blame myself to not dig deeply before buying it, I didn't see a clear mention of 'No speaker function'. I have bought webcams and they come with mic and speaker function but this product disappointment me. Giving 3 stars because it does make sound better audible in meetings.

This mic is a small but valuable tool if you shoot video on your iPhone and need the natural sounds to be captured in decent quality. While the mic isn't going to get you anything groundbreaking (quality-wise), it will definitely help you capture the intended audio in decent quality - something that has regularly been a pain point for me with mobile video on iPhone. The best thing about this is being able to wield my phone however I want, knowing that the mic is facing outward the whole time, TOWARD the subject I want to capture. This little mic can make a BIG difference. A worthy purchase.

Overall this is a great mic. It is very small so its easy to bring it anywhere. No set up time you just plug it into your Iphone and it starts working!

The microphone is great but I also found that the internal microphones on iPhone 12 Pro Max are better and produce stereo sound.

Did improve the sound of memo recordings. Still quieter than I thought it would be but an improvement over the phones microphone.

Good quality for a reasonable price. No app or settings to speak of, but quick for on-the-go sound capture. Swivel/pose-ability is great.

when plugged into phone, phone speaker is disabled so cannot easilyreview what is recorded with the mic unless mic is unplugged
