I have a much older version that I thought would still work but didn’t realize that an adapter has to upgrade like technology does in order to work. This one is terrific for my son’s mac and a variety of accessories for school and home activities.

Small but great. Works like a dream with my iPad.

I was first introduced to this brand at an Apple Store and I saw this one at a Best Buy and after double checking with the Apple Store on the model they had, and doing some checking on the web, I purchased this particular one. I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. I made my iPad Air come to life on an external monitor and I can see being able to use this with my iPad as a back up or temporary computer. I was also able to use this with my Samsung Galaxy S21 and was equally impressed that it worked on that as well (and was amazed that, if I needed, I can use Samsung on an external monitor too.) And this gives me a little more functionality with the Ethernet port and the extra USB port. I can’t wait to do more with this think and see what else it is capable of.

So far it’s a solid piece. I just wish that they included another cord that was longer. The cord included is wsy too short in some instances.

Had to have it since Apple is too cheap to provide both size ports on their iMac. Dislike having to buy something that should have been provided. The newer the model iMac, the fewer extras they have. No CD player, no camera chip port, no USB port. Dinky keyboard. No way to use the mouse while it’s charging. Wait! I should be reviewing the iMac?

This device works well with my Mac, allowing me to hook up memory sticks and external hard drives. I’m very pleased so far.

So far it has been a great extension to my limited Macbook ports. I use to have one for another brand and it got really hot went connected. This one doesn’t overheat
