All of the greats started here. Still fun to watch and remember when.

It's great to have all of the first-year episodes intact and in one collection. The eight DVDs are nicely packaged and titled. I appreciate the fact that the scene previews divide each episode into the individual skits and performances - that will be a help when I go back through these in the future. This is how it all started!

Although I still watch the show... There will never be an ensemble like this again! Bulishi, Chase, Akroyd, Radner an of course Mr. Bill Murray. Get this DVD set an re-live the old days when late night TV included the Bass-O-Matic!

This dvd is great to watch. This is the era when snl was good, today's show can not compare. The sound and picture was very good.

If you love the ;70s, Chevy Chase, Garrett Morris, Loraine Neuman, and the rest of the early SNL cast, you will love the 1st Season of SNL. The hosts and musical guests are the greatest. Just wonderful to watch over and over. As an adult and a teenager or college student. Humor is great!!

This is the classic season of SNL which is in my opinion the best also. It has a great cast including Chevy Chase and John Belushi. It also has great musical guests like Abba and Paul Simon. Awesome.

The first season and the best season in my mind. This is a must have. It is a piece of history.

Entertaining, funny til the last minute. Can't go wrong with having SNL on DVD, it'a must have for every fan of the show.
