At first glance this might seem like the next big animated adventure for kids, but in this case, looks are deceiving. This animated movie is aimed squarely at adults, with all the rude, crude comedy you can handle. It's not just potty humor and steamy undertones, though. If you look deeper there are some surprising mature, thought-provoking themes underneath. If you're looking for something different, this fits the bill nicely.

If you are a fan of Seth Rogans personality, you will find this movie to be hilarious. I have watched it 2 times now, and it is well written to the point where you will pick up some social issues and small details with additional viewings. You can tell this was a bit of a pet project for Rogan, and he put some effort into it. The visual quality is a bit forgettable, but is forgiven by the quality of writing and humor.

If your idea of funny is excessive unnecessary profanity (almost every line in the film contains it), uninspired "whoopee" jokes, gross images with no pay off, and lame satire, then you may enjoy Sausage Party.

Overall I really did enjoy this film. Please read that it's rated r before you let any young children watch it. There are lots of references to intercourse obviously but they present it in a way that it's not disturbing...UNTIL THE END !!! Hahaha you'll have to watch it to find out. There is a deeper meaning to it if you really pay attention to it. Overall I would recommend if you're old enough to watch it haha.

I watched this movie at the theater with my best friend and everyone was crying of laughter. It's definitely not for everyone but if you like Seth Roegen's films and kind of dirty humor, you'll like this one.

this was my cup o' tea! .. a fun animated film geared toward adults! innuendo was hilarious and the look of the "food" was fun lookin. also got the free shirt while supplies lasted! def a great addition!

I guess it took 10 yrs to find a film company to produce the movie. It is worth buying, a lot of extras. When I bought it I got it on sale with a free t shirt. Good story, famous actor voices, and funny.

Good movie! I don't go to the theaters...too expensive. Buy the movie the first week it's out and you can get it cheaper and watch it whenever or as often as you want. You'll want to with this movie!

Its a funny movie but not for people who get offended by everything and anything. Story was decent. This movie is made for adults and NOT children lol.

First, to all the geniuses that brought kids to an R-rated movies, just because it was animated, and then complained loudly about how inappropriate it was... what part of "R-rated" did you miss?

The movie is just ok. It's very funny at parts and pretty stupid at other times. But the audio / video on this disc is fantastic. Great colors, sharp details, and the atmos track is excellent!

Funny movie that I enjoyed. Definitely not for the easily offended crowd. Just seemed to be lacking a little something that would have made it a classic 5 star movie. Still worth the watch.✌

This is definitely not the movie for young children, unless you want to answer some awkward questions. Now you can see life from the viewpoint of produce.

Never caught this in theater, got it on sale here and wish we would’ve seen it in the theater. It’s hilarous and everything you would expect out of a Seth Rogan movie

I'm not a big fan of cartoons, but this one was an exception. Seth Rogen and all the other actors did a great job of bringing life to these inanimate objects. Definitely an adult cartoon!

This movie has some funny moments but it is not for the easily offended. Beyond vulgar and filthy... This movie makes South Park seem family friendly. Watch at your own risk. NOT FOR KIDS

This is NOT a movie for kids. It's not a 10, but still quite good. Up until the ending, the movie flows nicely, has a good plot, and a lot of funny instances. The ending is sort of a dud, but not enough to discredit the rest of the movie. The extras included with the DVD are also worth watching...seeing how some of the movie, characters, and music developed was a nice touch.

Sausage Party is an excellent parody of society being administered a false narrative by leadership to solicit willing corporation to an activity they would otherwise never agree. The characters were both personable and believable and the graphics were excellent. Sub plots kept the story moving as the main players moved towards finding the truth. A thinking person's cartoon.

I had heard mixed reviews on this one. But I'm glad I decided to buy it anyway. This is a very funny movie and purchased at a good price.

I wasn’t really expecting a lot from this movie but I’ll have to admit it’s pretty hilarious. Great voice acting from all involved. Just remember that this is not for kids.
