Might take a couple listens to fully appreciate...that is to say, it will grow on you. Not sure this cd will produce a radio hit though.... best tracks are probably the two ballads.

I would give this album about 3.5 stars (round up to 4). While some of the songs leave something to be desired, there are a handful of really good songs making it a good album.

I am a fan of TOADM and this album did not disappoint. The tone is more heavy then the last previous albums with tracks such as Heavy, Savages, World War Me, and The Sun Has Set on Me which are amazing tracks. The Ballads such as Angel, The One and Livin My Life Like a Country Song are also amazing tunes. The real let downs of this CD are Salt It Wound and Panic Room which are pretty much used as filler with their simplicity. These two songs are tolerable but you be hitting the skip button more then anything.

Great album. Theory of a Deadman took a different direction with serious issues in today's society. Lots of good riffs and ballads. My favorite songs are Savages, Blow, Drown.

This CD brings TOAD back to their roots. It's a harder, more "grungy" sound. If you're a fan of their debut album, you'll love this.

I'm more into hard and heavy but these guys are good. a lot of ballads on this one in my opinion but the hard songs really rock.

Music is incredible and stays true to form even while expanding and growing for the band. Welcome back. Next time don't wait so long to release an album!

Love this band. Especially love the singles "Savages" with Alice Cooper and "Livin' My Life Like a Country Song" with Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts.

This is THE hard rock album from Theory of A Deadman. Very dark, driving bass and guitar licks. Tyler's vocals are especially impressive on this cut.

I've been a fan of theory for a while. But this album is something of a disappointment. The tracks just don't have catchy lyrics and at times feel strongly overwritten. As if they were running out of material. A few slower so go are nice, but I wouldn't advise his to new fans. I'd push for their one of their previous albums such as scars and souvenirs (my personal favorite).

Theory of a Deadman has always delivered music that ROCKS, but relates to life. Savages offers a little more variety, and I love it.

Thos cd is different from their other cds. This cd is heavier and edgier than the others. Shows a darker side of TOADM
