I'm liking them all, so far I don't have a favorite. However even though Darren Bousman returns as the director, writer Leigh Whannell has been replaced by two new writers, this didn't ruin things for me though. Jigsaw's games continue, with a new apprentice. The main test subject is Officer Rigg, who's obsessed with wanting to save people, or in this case, victims. JS is trying to teach him to let people save themselves. You need to watch this chapter very carefully, because it swings back and from the past to the present of the series, remember parts two and three when you watch this or it may confuse you, enjoy!

Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda are dead. Now, upon the news of Detective Kerry's murder, two seasoned FBI profilers, Agent Strahm and Agent Perez, arrive in the terrified community to assist the veteran Detective Hoffman in sifting through Jigsaw's latest grisly remains and piecing together the puzzle. However, when SWAT Commander Rigg is abducted and thrust into a game, the last officer untouched by Jigsaw has but ninety minutes to overcome a series of demented traps and save an old friend or face the deadly consequences.

    Best "SAW" since the original!

Every single "SAW" movie has taken us further inside the twisted world of Jigsaw and his many victims. Not since the original has one the "SAW" movies been so fresh, original, and shocking. "SAW IV" tells the story of the last cop left untouched by Jigsaw being pulled into the biggest game of all and into his own personal h*ll. We follow him as he races to save his friends before his time runs out. He soon realizes the games are much bigger than he ever could have imagined as he nears the end of his own. Full of new traps, new surprises, and new victims, "SAW IV" is by far the best "SAW" movie since the original and features an ending that rivals the original. Sit back and strap yourself in for one h*ll of a ride. Are you ready for "SAW V"?

    Very good, but not great

This one was definitely better than 3, but still not as good as 1 and 2. This one does provide more of the back story behind Jigsaw and provides a good amount of mystery as to who the next in line is, but just wasn't as exciting as the first two. The acting was just ok though and is what really stood out in this installment as none of those cops and FBI agents were believalbe at all. Still the new traps/puzzles, mystery, and suspense makes it a very good movie.

'I want to play a game!'

My wife and I love these movies, they just get better and better. Don't think of this as a sequel, they're really just one big movie seperated into segments. Even without Tobin Bell (John Cramer a.k.a. Jigsaw) the game continues. For fans like us, we can't get enough. I do recommend watching them in order or you might get confused. Plus, always make sure you get the unrated director's cuts, you don't want to miss anything. I highly recommend this one, along with all the others!

the saw movies get less good as they go along but there all still ok. since this is blu-ray, the gore is much more graphis and real looking and the openning scene is a bit to much. this installment has your typical traps and people screaming help. the unique thing about this saw is that it shows jigsaw before he was a torture machine. it tells you how he got started and it pretty interesting. and the twists get more rediculous. (warning: spoiler) if you dont understand the twist at the end, then read on. both saw 3 and 4 are happening at the same time. after the gorey first scene, everythings a flashback. the builing at the end of this saw is the setting in the 3rd one.

    Better than I expected

I'll rank the Saw movies in order of my most favorite and least: 1) Saw 1) Saw II 3) Saw IV 4) Saw III (I can't decide which one out of the first two is better) The fourth one (this one) is better than the third, in my opinion. Like every Saw movie, there is a twist. The twists in the last two have been no where near as INTENSE and SHOCKING as the first two, but decent. I like this movie and recommend it because if you've watched this one, 99% likely, you were a Saw fan and watched the whole set so far. You have to watch this one. You won't be disappointed though. As a Saw fan, I wasn't.

The final Saw to end them all, now i bet ur thinking its gonna be stupid for they ended it jus right in the end of Saw 3 but ur wrong all four movies come together in the end as they always do. You learn why jigsaw became the way he was an why he does what he does. You find out many other things but i dont want to give them away I rate it a 5 out of five in stars. -Fight3r-

The series could go either way on this one. This isn't a movie series that could go campy anytime soon, but it's also one that could end with this movie and no one would mind, including myself. To the best of my knowledge, all loose ends have been tied up and though there is a new Jigsaw, to not know who he goes after in the future isn't a big deal, you just know he's out there and that's enough. Saw V is coming out soon, but I don't think it'll return the series to what it used to be.

I'm a fan of all the Saw movies and I have to say that this one shows that you can change the killer in a horror series. Jigsaw unleashes a horror legacy that is carried even after his death. I love the traps, the plot, and I hope they come out with another one that stays true to the legacy of the first four movies.

When I saw the first one of this series I was amazed on the suspense of it. Now that they made it to the 4th movie is amazing lots of blood and gore and suspense around every corner, i literally cant wait till the 5th one comes out cause they know how to never end this series.
