Sadly my case came in bent at the bottom in the opening part, not a lot since I can still close it. Overall I am pleased with the steelbook.

Great steel book, looks amazing. This is a must get for FF fans and new comers.

The steelbook is a preorder bonus for ordering early. The steelbook uses a spot gloss technique. The XVI across the steelbook is glossy so holding it at certain angles you see it and other angles you don't.

This is a Steelbook for compact disc formats, it can hold a CD, a DVD, or Blu-Ray though most commnly you might want to use it to keep your physical copy of Final Fantasy XVI safe.

This steelbook is currently fighting for my favorite with the deluxe edition one. Its a very good looking case. This was a great pre order bonus.

Very nice steel book that came free with my Final Fantasy 16 Deluxe Edition. Shipping was great and not a ding or scratch in sight.

Big ol' slice across the front which no dount came from someone opening the box of steelbooks with a knife. I dont understand how this continues to be an issue. Gouges, cuts, dents, bends, breaks...they cant be repaired! And with limited quantity, limited edition, popular, or preorder items like this, my chances of getting a replacement are practically non-existent! I have hundreds of steelbooks from Best Buy and nearly 25% of them show up damaged, with no hope of a replacement. And whether I can or can't get a replacement, I've already given Best Buy my money...I shouldn't have to also waste my time driving or calling around to look for something that's supposed to be delivered in new condition. With a giant cut across the front, its not new, it's not collectible...it no longer holds any value and a waste of money. If all I wanted was the game, I could've gone literally anywhere else. Such a letdown.

Average steelbook honestly. Nothing to go crazy for. It just has an image of Clive on the outside and a screenshot of Ifrit inside.

This is the best final fantasy, since probably X. Not counting MMOs. Its a great game with a great story and good gameplay. It would be a masterpiece, if only it didnt have pacing issues. The game relies too much on the cutscenes to tell the story - and in between cutscenes the party members never talk. Not that theres actually a party. There are a lot of side quests and theyre mostly pretty great and add a lot to the story, but they clearly had a different, inferior writer to the main scenario. A lot are great, and some are painfully boring. The gameplay is fantastic - but boy oh boy is it easy. Ridiculously easy. But if you can get passed these flaws, this is a fantastic game.

Steel book is great but mine came with some dents on it probably from shipping but its beautifully designed.

I can't say too much about the steelbook but the game itself was excellently received. It was a gift and the recipient has been very happy with it. I did find it very odd that the pre-order disk of the game and the steelbook itself were not ready at the same time and required two trips to the store. I didn't care for that part but it's the first time that's happened.

Got this for my Granddaughter. Here's her review - One amazing case with one amazing game. Final Fantasy is one of my favorite series and to find a surprise with the steelbook with the cool art and references to the game with Ifrit in the case and the sword and Clive on it. It overall looks amazing and I will keep it on display.

If any game could answer the question "are viseo games art?" This game is a resounding yes with it's writing, music, voice acting, and visuals --With engaging gameplay to boot. It's only let down is in its afterthough of side quests. But there's plenty still going on in this game that also respects your time.

This is the reason I preordered from Best Buy. This case is well designed and made, and it’s solid. A nice addition to my collection and for those who don’t want to get the more expensive editions.

Once you start playing, you can never stop. Cut scenes were on point. You can really tell that they put a lot of effort in building the story. Gameplay is very responsive. Very DMC like fight style
