    Scanners is a cerebral horror film and has aged pretty well. Most horror buffs are familiar with the film, certainly it's most famous scene, so let's talk about the packaging. Wow! Criterion has outdone themselves with this one. Spectacular - the artwork is pretty great. If you're a fan of Criterion and their packaging, this is a must-have. As for the film, the transfer is great. It and the extras live up to Criterion's reputation as the gold standard for film packaging. If you're on the fence, get it - it's definitely one for the collection.

    This science fiction classic should be part of every film collection, and I was thrilled to replace my original Criterion film with this Blu Ray upgrade. The cinematography is beautiful and exciting, the upgrade is a welcome addition to my Criterion collection.

    It was a pleasure revisiting this gem, one of the first Cronenberg films I saw. Criterion version comes with a great early Cronenberg interview on CBC and essay booklet.

    Another great David Cronenberg body horror movie. It's a little dated but still a great movie.

    I was expecting a lot going in and the acting is quite bad. Some crazy gory moments but that is what makes it infamous I guess.
