This was a blind buy for me and I was in the end, very pleased with the purchase. It kept me interested and is a great Halloween type offering.

This is an excellent movie. Anything by Guillermo Del Toro is a good choice. He's not only an excellent director/ producer, he's also an even better screen/story writer.

Steelbook review, not movie! This steelbook is pretty cool and worth getting for your collection. I don't think it's worth full price because the back is missing a lot of art.

Guillermo Del Toro has the perfect mind fo horror and it doesn't stop at Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark and the Steelbook release Best Buy put out is awesome!

Growing up I loved the books. I enjou=yed seeing the characters come to life on the screen. You can tell Del Toro definitely used the creepy pictures from books as inspiration.

Did not see it yet. I hope it will be good, hard to find a good horror movie nowadays. Don't make them like they used to. Hope it will catch my interest.

5 stars for the monster designs and creepy feels of no escape. But only 3 stars for the overall storyline and acting. Hope to see a sequel with a bigger budget.

It's really not that scary, but I liked it. If you love a "Let's hide behind the wall of chainsaws instead of getting into the running car" movie, you will like it too.

Loved this movie. I'm not a fan of excessive blood and gore. This movie was creepy and scary without overdoing it. Perfect type movie to watch around Halloween.

A different movie than what I was expecting; it was scarier than a kids movie would be. The ending was left open-ended, so a sequel is supposedly coming.

Liked it more than I thought I would. Interesting characters and story line. Creepy and scary, but not terrifying, however, the toe in the stew was unsettling.

This movie is very good. Great story telling and one of the only few movies today to use practical effects instead of using special effects makes the monsters look real.

The title tell it all. Great for the little kids to have them sitting of the edge of their seat, some adults too I guess. But, it's a great movie.

Most people that grew up in the 90's will remember the books fondly and in turn will enjoy this movie to some extent.

Grew up reading the book and the movie wasn’t scary as some have said, but there was this one part in it that did kind of freak me out.

I’m trying to introduce my daughter to age appropriate horror movies and I took a chance on this one. It was awesome! Good scares and very well-made.
