If I had went to the movies to see this I would have regretted it. Instead I bought it and since I only paid 14.99 I'm going to take it with an EH. It's not horrible but it's by no means a scary movie. And I know it's supposed to be entertainment but it seems as if it was written by someone in middle school, the acting is b rated but the effects are good. Rent it and then decide, I don't think you'll buy it.

This unfortunately was a very weak attempt at scaring people, I didn't even watch it all the way to the end . Very disappointed.

Classis... great price... good for a theater room play in the season!

Enjoyed this flick quite a bit when it came out last fall. Give it a watch. Good mix of horror, comedy, action and suspense. Enjoy!

Surprisingly good story line. Can't wait for the sequel. Very good acting and many twists and surprises.

Reminiscent of Goosebumps but a little darker. I loved these books as a kid and enjoyed this rendition of the material.

The movie is not too scary. Good for kids 9 and up. Not a Friday 13 movie or any other out of control bloody scene movie.

While not Del Toro's best movie it is a great collection of PG-13 stary stories. Audio is amazing and video is above average.
