Fun a little suspense kinda corny but it is what is for something that follows the classic tales.

Bought for my girlfriend, she said the movie sucks :^D

This movie was worth watching, but I didn’t really care for it. I thought it was going to be a little different then what it actually was.

Bought this mostly just to test out the 4k abilities of my new 4k blu-ray player. The Player is great! The Scary Stories was decent.

Was excited because I like the director, but the cast sucks and the movie is very corny. Only has like two good moments

Loved these books growing up. big fan of guillermo del toro as well. i guess it was as good as it could be but not the best.

Movies ain’t scary anymore and this is one of them. Watched with a 7 year old and she wasn’t scared at all

This was a Denver movie could’ve definitely been scarier I think they tried to hard to be like the conjuring franchise

This is a fun movie. I was not overly impressed with the 4K image quality here but still enjoyed the film. Worth a look.

Not very scary, but still entertaining. Honestly I would have rather rented it than bought the Blu-ray.

Okay movie. Starts slow but takes off half way through. The ending leaves one to believe that a sequel is coming.

Being a horror fan I bought this movie hopping it would be as good as the trailer made it out to be, but the movie fell short. The monsters used in the movie look creepy as they should, but their story line sucks. This movie had the potential to be a great horror movie but the story line and the use of this monster fell way short. I would not recommend this movie to anyone.

I had read the books as a kid but the movie was alright not scary and I felt it was a bit too long.

Did not quite live up to expectation but none the less good and worth watching and will probably watch again.

We hear it all the time, and it’s particularly true with this film(the books are better). I did like the attempt to fuse a bunch of stories and the special effects were done well. A classic book (book series) is always such a risk to attempt and Although not a complete waste of time to watch, read the books and watch the audio retelling on YouTube for the books.

Not as scary as I’d hoped. My teenage kids were mildly entertained. Looks and sounds great in 4K.

This was good for a watch, but I will probably sell it as I don't think there is much replay value.

the books used to freak me out as a younger child. this movie was actually creepy at times.
