One of the best WWII movies ever made! Absolutely an amazing experience to witness what happened and how some people risked everything to save lives. I just hope one day a color version of this movie is made

This movie was very moving and makes one think. The quality of this 4K disc is stunning. Razor sharp and visually beautiful. They did a outstanding job on this transfer. I’m glad I finally got around to seeing this movie, it’s a masterpiece that people need to see.

Saw this movie for the first time and was completely surprised! Actually had a range of emotions from anger,sadness and triumph toward the end. A masterpiece of it's time and beyond! A must watch!

I want to start off that this steelbook is beautiful! The movie is a classic. This review is strictly for the Best Buy exclusive steelbook edition. This edition is missing the bonus disc!! So you cannot watch any of the bonus contents promised on the back. The digital copy does not come with the bonus either. I would recommend you buy the slipcover edition if you’re interested in the documentaries.

A heartbreaking and powerful masterpiece. This 25th Anniversary Blu-ray delivers stunning picture quality and includes a digital copy, making it easy to watch anywhere. A must-own for film lovers and an important reminder of history, beautifully preserved.

Every once in a while a movie comes along about the true horrors man can thrust upon each other that must be owned out of respect. This is one of the most important films of the Twentieth Century. This is arguably Spielberg's greatest masterpiece. The Holocaust is one of the darkest chapters in our humanity and we must never forget. It's one of those films in your collection that you watch every once in a great while to never forget what man can do. We are capable of the greatest darkness and the greatest light. It's an emotional watch that tears your heart out, but most importantly illustrates the power of one man's ability to change the world for the better.

It's strange to look at his films from this century and see Spielberg trying so hard, time and time again, to try and be taken seriously as an artist. He wants that so bad, to be looked upon as "grown up" from the popcorn pictures of his youth. Yet 25 years ago he proved his serious abilities with this film, beyond doubt. It's a living, breathing - and horrific - world in the film. This home media version is top drawer too, Universal can be so hit or miss with their back catalogue remasters and restorations, but this is as good as it gets. The best audio and visual presentation one could hope for.

I’ve been looking to upgrade from my old DVD copy of this masterpiece for awhile. Thankfully the last time I was in Best Buy they had this film on sale in their 4K section and I couldn’t pass it up. It truly is among Spielberg’s best and one that should not be taken lightly. The story and themes are as important as ever and to see it in an even better 4K picture is all the better. I first saw this movie in high school when we watched it as a class and I’ve seen it several times since, each time it has moved me ever since.

This is one of the greatest achievements in cinema history. It's heartbreaking, heartwarming, horrific and inspiring all at the same time. Spielberg's depiction of the of the Holocaust was based on a story told by a camp survivor and extensive research. Technically, everything about the 4K release is perfect and a step up from the already excellent Blu-ray. Schindler's can be very difficult to watch but it must be watched especially by those who think that such horrors could not occur in our modern world. Never Again!

A film from an era which has left pain for many especially those directly affected. It was nice to see a film primarily based upon a real live individual who saw a change in his ways and into the value of human kind. Having been filmed in black and white makes the story more true to the times and does not provide a distraction from it if it had been filmed in color. The 4k edition stands out with sharper contrasts between dark and light adding to the mood in many scenes. A must buy.

Steven Speilberg directed this film about Oskar Schindler; a man who helped many Jewish citizens escape the overbearing grasp of the Holocaust. This film has so many tense, sad and uproarious moments that you won't want to stop watching once the reels start rolling. Incredible cast playing all the heavy hitters from WWII - this film is mesmerizing!

At least they have not destroyed this movie by doing a remake of it. This is part of our history and the history of Germany. It was sad times when everyone who could have put pressure on Hitler to stop the massacre. The Church could have stepped in to attempt to stop but they did not. We could have tried sooner and we to failed. A great movie and hope history NEVER repeats itself. I have owned the 4k version since 12/13/2019.

Universal Studios commemorates the production's 25th Anniversary on 4K Ultra HD with a beautiful Dolby Vision HDR presentation that offers a few appreciable improvements over its Blu-ray counterpart, but the Dolby Atmos soundtrack, on the other hand, feels artificial thanks to some unnecessary tampering of the original sound design. The same set of supplements as before are joined by a pair of new featurettes, making the overall UHD package worth a look for hardened fans.

A friend referred me to this movie last year, I watched it first on Netflix and got reeled in to it. I think everyone should watch it, especially now. It's not only a movie that's very well made, but it also has an important lesson in history and that we mustn't let it repeat itself. As far as video quality, I'm surprised by the detail in 4K, they did a good job in remastering it.

A very sad, but truthful, telling of Otto Schindler efforts to save Jews from dieing in a Polish concentration camp. This film should mandatory viewing for college students. It's a tale of the immense harm a deranged leader can do to a group of people he wrongly blamed for his country's problems.

Steven Spielberg has created several memorable films, but none are as important as this film that takes a personal, up close look at the Holocaust. It is an unrelenting and gripping film starring Liam Neeson as a morally conflicted man that tries to do the best he can during the worst of times. Everyone should watch this film at least once in their lives.

Excellent movie and well worth buying. Do be aware this is movie about very brutal subjects and is about the best and worst of humans

Schindler's List [25th Anniversary] 4K Ultra Blu-Ray is a great movie and with 4K Ultra, it is crystal clear and enhances the viewing.

It is the triumph of one man who made a difference and the drama of those who survived one of the darkest chapters in human history because of what he did. Meticulously restored from the original film negative in pristine high definition and supervised by Spielberg, Schindler's List is a powerful story whose lessons of courage and faith continue to inspire generations.
