I used to ride at cycle studios and this bike is as good as those spinning bikes. I use the Peloton app with it and that gives me the studio experience at home. I also clip in to the pedals and the ride is very smooth. You will get an excellent workout on this bike.

    Good Alternative to a Peloton

I've had my bike for a few weeks now. Didn't take long to assemble, less than an hour. I did have a small issue after it was delivered. When I was assembling the base bars, at some point of the delivery, the frame where the rear base attaches, was slightly bent. So, I had to really jam it in to get the screw to go through. Unfortunately, I'm unable to tighten all the way. The bike still functions fine. Now that I'm a homeowner and have space for a home gym, this is one of my first purchases. I've gone to plenty of spin classes and I have to say this rides pretty smooth compared to the actual studio bikes. Below are the pro's and con's: Pros: -Easy to assemble -Adjustability (handle bars move up/down and front/back) -Quiet (because of magnetic gearing knob) -Computer/HR monitor strap -Cradle for tablets/phones -Pedals (can use cleats or step in) -Seat is more comfortable than my road/triathlon bike -Easy to get to levels with gear knob -Easy to read/use computer -Sturdy -Price Cons: -Squeaks around the bases -Bottle holders (knees will sometimes hit when standing. Should have place behind saddle?) -When handlebars are in higher position, will sometimes slide down, even when fully tightened. -Even with seat moved all the way forward, thighs will sometimes rub on the bar the seat sits on. -No power meter on computer -Computer has to be plugged in to socket in order to use. Probably going to contact customer service to see if they have any suggestions on the "squeaky" noise coming from the base bars. I thought about purchasing a Peloton, but they were almost twice the price and you still have to pay a monthly membership of $40 to use the monitor/apps. At least with the IC4 (which is also the Bowflex C6), you have the option of just downloading the app on to your tablet/phone and still get some of the benefits. I've watched a lot of reviews on studio bikes, and many say that the IC4 is an excellent bike. All in all, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend this bike.

    Great Exercise Bike for money

I have only had my IC4 for a few weeks but thus far I am very pleased with it. I did a lot of research on different brands and models before purchasing this exercise bike and also where to purchase it. Best Buy was by far better than ordering directly from Schwinn in the timing. They were excellent in how quickly they processed my order and then delivered my bike. I wanted a bike that is very sturdy, quiet and easy to assemble and use. I was not disappointed! It is heavy and probably easier to assemble if you have a second person but I did manage to do it myself okay. If you read instructions it is not hard at all and it included all the tools needed to assemble. I have a studio apartment and wanted something with a small footprint and this bike is it without a big price tag. I love everything about it but I did get a seat cover to add additional padding; but I also have not been on a regular upright bike in several years so it took time to condition myself again to an upright bike seat as I had been using a recumbent with Total Gym which I no longer had room for. I would recommend this product; the descriptions are accurate. It is very quiet and easy to use. I have not tried the apps yet so I cannot review them.

Bought this as a substitute for a peloton bike and so far this bike has exceeded our expectations! Easy to put together, stable, extremely silent, magnetic resistance that's easily adjustable while you work out, customizable seat and handle positions, extra weights included. Works with Peloton app or any other spin bike apps out of the box. We have our iPad in the holder as the main screen which picks up all the sensors from the bike easily. Also, the heart rate monitor that's included is reliable and accurate.

The bike was super easy to put together. It just feels like a high quality bike. It’s heavy and sturdy. It’s nearly silent when in use. Everything adjusts for both my wife and I to comfortably ride. The Bluetooth pairs easily. We use it with the Peloton App. The bike is as good if not better than the Peloton bike. Does it have a screen? No. Do I have a smartTV right in front of it with Peloton App and surround sound? Yup.

This is a great home spin bike. It is completely silent, you could ride and watch TV and no one would be bothered. Well built and sturdy. I got it for my wife (but because it is versatile and adjustable, everyone has tried it...from 10 yr old kids to 6ft men). I tried it out for my self on several indoor rides. I can confirm I have used it with Zwift and also with ROUVY via the Bluetooth connection to the computer. Yes, you do need to adjust the resistance manually, instead of the interactive on my smart trainer, but that's fine. The resistance is plenty in my opinion. Can use SPD clipless pedals or regular sneakers. My wife loves it because she can use it with her Peloton app, and has been riding it everyday for the last two weeks. Great value if you want the connection to apps, etc..

I got this bike for $699 on a daily deal and I couldn’t be happier with it. It rides absolutely silently, the 4 way adjustability makes for a super comfortable ride, the metrics on the screen are comprehensive, the build quality is fantastic, the heart rate monitor is comfortable and accurate, and the USB port is very convenient for charging the band or any other device. PLEASE NOTE: this bike is pretty heavy and VERY involved to assemble, so the initial setup can be somewhat difficult, but it’s worth it once everything is finished. Two additional minor notes: the bike doesn’t display your exact rpm on the display, just a meter on an rpm scale, but it will broadcast an exact rpm (along with your other metrics) to apps like JRNY, my cadence, or Peleton; the positioning of the water bottle holders makes it so that a tall person’s knees might bump a tall water bottle, especially while standing, you might want to test the bike if you’re over ~6’3”

    Very Functional Exercise Bike

Very sturdy and quiet, this exercise bike gets me sweating more than any equipment I've previously used. The magnetic resistance is so quiet and smooth, and it is fairly easy to adjust for more than one person to use. I have not used the connected device options, such as the wireless HR sensor, but I'm glad it has that option. Probably the one feature I do wish it had would be Bluetooth to sync the workout to a connected app commonly used by many people. I'm not one for the subscription workout services, where I'm just happy this bike is quiet and I can watch a favorite TV series or movie while working out.

We looked at the different stationary bikes for some time before ultimately going with this one. I wasn't worried with 'riding w/others' & didn't find a reason to have the specific shoes especially since it's 2 of us. It's quiet & the dial for resistance is smooth. Handlebars are positioned well comfortable. Seat could be a little cushier, there's a possibility to replace that part. Also, no need for a monthly subscription, which apparently you need for others to work. Overall, I am very happy with this bike & would recommend for those who are self motivated & can either watch regular tele or pull up a workout on Amazon Prime. For me, I just couldn't find the need to spend twice as much to be in the 'in crowd' riding what everyone else is, but that's how I roll! Oh, and easy to put together & doesn't take up too much space, a bonus!

Had this for a month now, put many miles on it and seems to be quality made. Extremely quiet - it doesn’t make a sound Easy resistance - turn of a knob instantly changes resistance, push knob to stop immediately Works with peloton app - Bluetooth connects to the app to show heart rate and Cadence. The internet has resistance converters so you can adjust accordingly. Not for short people - I’m 5’2” and just fit at the lowest seat/handlebar settings Handlebars have a slight wiggle to them - if you come out of the saddle and put weight on the handlebars you will notice they have a slight rock. Seat isn’t great for casual rides - your bum will hurt if you do casual rides where you’re sitting still. If you’re doing spin classes where you’re up and down and moving, it’s fine. Looks like it can be easily swapped out for a different seat. Would recommend this as a cheaper price/high quality option.
