This was a great purchase. It was delivered quickly by two gentlemen from Best Buy. They were polite and respectful of our property. Carried it to the 2nd floor and they wore their masks the whole time. The bike itself was pretty easy to put together. My husband and I managed it in about 40 minutes. It is very sturdy and I am comfortable riding it. I am 50 and I have no trouble using it. The height and resistance is easy to adjust and the screen is easy to use, see and connect via bluetooth. I researched many bikes and this one won out because I didn't need any monthly membership to anything. I already have a peloton app that I use to take classes on my treadmill and I can use that for my bike as well. However, I like the Rouvy app as I can cast that to my TV and ride my bike thru Ireland or anywhere else in the world. I highly recommend this bike.

I suffer from shin splints after long distance runs and now I can accomplish my cardio on a low impact machine and only run sprints to keep my form and speed. Why pay Pelaton for the name when Schwinn has been making bikes for nearly a century. Solid construction, more resistance then you’ll ever need, JRNY membership is great, all you need is a smartphone or tablet to engage in coaching sessions (of course you have one). I always thought spinning was lame. I was wrong. 50-60 minute classes put my in the dirt.

Amazing value. I personally use it with the Peloton app and it works wonderfully. There's a conversion chart you can find online to cross reference the resistance with Peloton. The bike is extremely sturdy, very smooth and completely silent. It took me longer to get it out of the box than it did to assemble it.
You really can't go wrong with this bike and the warranty is great. A screen replacement on a Peloton is $400 and they're known to get burn in and fail. You don't have that problem with this and if your device breaks, you pick up another $40 fire tablet and you're good to go. I'm sure the actual Peloton experience is overall better since it's all one package, but this is 1/3rd the cost nearly (depending on the bike), has a better warranty and you're not tied to the Peloton app for the life of the bike if you decide you don't like it or you want to switch to Zwift or something.
Some people complain about the resistance being way off and being able to pedal at level 100. Those bikes need to have the resistance re-calibrated and they will work satisfactorily after that. I'm a 230lb dude w/ massive calves and quads and it's a dead stop on level 100.

This bike is solid. It does not wobble or make noise when riding it. The big thing is to make sure you set the seat and handle bars correctly. There are online videos to help on that. The first time I used it I felt uncomfortable. I then watched a video and set my seat correctly and it made a really big difference in comfort and in the length I could ride it.
I assembled it myself, so the installation was actually very easy. Some reviews state that tall people might hit the bottle in the bottle holders, so I just did not install them.

Very sturdy well built product. Easy to build, easy to use and compatible with Pelaton by just getting to free app. Weights are in a handy place. The ride is smooth and the resistance is challenging. It comes with a pulse sensor

They key feature this has over other bikes available is it's ability to connect to Zwift as well as the Peleton App. I've only used this with Zwift at this point, but it's great.
Zwift gives me the motivation to keep pushing further, as well as something to focus on while I'm logging km after km.
Build quality is very good. The bike is sturdy and easy to adjust. It pairs via bluetooth to my computer running Zwift; first time, every time. It's very quiet as well. I have Shimano clips on my road bike, so these pedals work with no changes, also an added bonus.
The only real negative is the drink holders. They're just in the way. I'm average height, and even still, with a drink bottle in the holder, I hit my knees when I get out of the saddle for a big climb making me have to twist my knee away from the bike to miss it. It's fine while I'm seated, so if that's all you plan for, they'll be fine.
I guess the other con is that this bike has manual resistance. Which of course I knew going in, and is the reason the price is at the level it is. But now that I'm being pulled into Zwift, I feel more of a need to get a smart trainer to get the full experience, but that'll have to wait.

I don't have anything to compare this to, BUT I've been a huge fan so far. Assembly and setup were pretty straightforward. Bike is mostly quiet. Gets a little noisy above 105 rpm. Overall though, the build quality is good, nothing feels cheap about it. iPad stand works great. I've seen complaints about the water bottle location, but I haven't had a problem with it yet. I will say, if you're looking to sync it with the Peloton Digital App, you get limited feedback on workouts. Cadence and Heart Rate (if you connect them via bluetooth—that's it. The included heart rate monitor is just OK. I would upgrade to a chest strap, just make sure you get one that is compatible. I run the Wahoo TickrX. Overall, my wife and I are very pleased with this purchase.

Works just like any spin bike but the feature to have your cadence in the Peloton app and show on their leaderboard is awesome. You aren’t rank but you are visible as a member and if you wanted to count where you rank in a live class I suppose you could. The “gears” are not the same as a Peloton but the conversion has been complete and is available with a Google or Etsy search. Hands down worth every penny.
My only two complaints are how the adjustment knobs for sizing aren’t all that easy to use. In my case, I’m the only one using the bike so now that I’m set it’s fine but you can’t easily do while riding.
Next, the placement of the water bottle holders is inconvenient for larger bottle like a Hydroflask. They could have put them someplace else on the handle bars or behind the set. But it’s fine I just use regular bike water bottles now instead.

This bike is absolutely wonderful, it is comfortable its quite, very sturdy, nice looking with a small footprint. The function is very smooth integrating the journey was simple, the blue tooth feature works well and the exercise classes are good motivation and it comes with a heart monitor for those that are interested. I cant imagine spending money on a higher priced model being any better than this bike.

Awesome indoor bike!

Back before the holidays I was in the market for an indoor bike. I liked the Peloton option but did not feel I would use it enough to justify the cost of the bike and monthly subscription ($45/mo or so). I had read many reviews on this bike as an alternative (dupe?!) and then pulled the trigger on an amazing deal during Best Buy’s 25 days of deals- $499!
I’ve had it now for a little over a month and have no complaints. It’s a solid built bike supporting my 6’3” 200 body. The seat and handlebars are adjustable, both height, as well as front and rear directions. This allows for a customized fit. We will see if it stands the test of time, but so far so good. Easy assembly.
I subscribe to the Peloton app for $12.99/mo and overall it has been great for my purposes. This bike will sync to the app so cadence displays. I do not use the HR monitor included, but instead my Apple watch. Couple important differences in case you are weighing this versus a peloton bike or one of the other competitors. It will not display power (a downside vs the actual peloton) but I think you can download another app to provide that information. Just hasn’t been anything of great priority for me. You cannot compete on the leaderboard if that is something of interest to you. It was not to me. Multiple people have written about the discrepancy between the resistance levels on this bike versus what is called out by peloton instructors. There are some charts out there showing the appropriate Level on this bike for a various peloton resistance with this bike being the lower of the two. Honestly, I just dial in to the peloton resistance called out. It may be a little harder work, but in the end, not a bad thing!
Overall, I am thoroughly enjoying the bike and highly recommend!

I'm 6'3" and weigh the max ;-) 330 lbs. After a few rides of working out the seat placement, I love this thing. It's gotten me right back to a great work out frequency because of how easy and quickly you can get in a great sweat. It's well built and easy to put together, I also love that you aren't tied to any specific app or program. Sign up for what you want or just hop on and start peddling.

One of the more expensive spin bikes, but compared to the Peloton which is considered the gold standard, this bike is worth every penny. This bike gives you all the necessary tools to get in a good workout and only missing a screen, which most people probably have a smart tv, tablet, or phone with instant access the workout apps.
Would highly recommend to all who are looking to get into spin but don't want to splurge on a more expensive bike. There are other cheaper options but this middle of the road bike is a great quality bike that does so much right!

I’ve had the bike for a month and ride it nearly every day—I’m totally in love with it. VERY smooth operation, the included Bluetooth heart monitor works perfectly on several devices, whisper quiet, easy to assemble, sleek, and challenging. The perfect replacement for riding when it’s too cold or wet outside. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend this Schwinn /Peleton (it’s the same body) indoor bike without hesitation.

The Schwinn Indoor Cycling Exercise Bike was a great addition to my workout routine. The ordering process from Best Buy was easy, as was the curbside pickup. There was minimal assembly needed and it took my adult son and I roughly an hour, including time to open the box and unwrap the carefully packaged parts.
The bike works smoothly. And allows me to get in a good warmup before I go out on my morning runs.

This bike comes close to capturing the full Peloton experience and does it for half the buy-in price and nearly a third of the monthly subscription fee. I recommend it for anyone who is budget conscience and looking for the Peloton experience. However, there are a few features that could be improved on that you should know about.
First, the seat post is more difficult to adjust than it needs to be. There is a pin built into the adjustment knob that retracts and locks into a hole on the post. However, you still need to unscrew the entire nob to adjust the height and screw it back in to tighten it up Also, since the pin needs to lock into a hole, the seat post cannot be micro-adjusted like other parts of the bike or Peloton's bikes. This is a non-issue if only one person will be using the bike and are comfortable on the pre-selected adjustment points.
Secondly, depending on the length of your water bottles, you may hit them with your knees when riding in the third positions (standing). This is because they cradle the bottles so they face the rider. I have not had this problem using a standard cycling bottle, but it is a shame the bike was not designed so the bottles face away from the rider to prevent this issue like Peloton's. Though you can relocate the bike on its wheels without them falling out.
Thirdly, while the resistance is adjustable from 0-100, it is not calibrated to Peloton’s scale. From my research, 0-50 will feel heavier than compared to Peloton’s but after 50, it is pretty much a one-to-one ratio. This might be because the Schwinn has a heavier flywheel at 40 lbs whereas the Peloton’s is 30 lbs. This is not a huge issue if you plan on using the bike with Peloton’s app because there are conversion charts online and ones you can even purchase to mount to the display. With that said, I do wish the resistance knob had more finesse and refinement as it is made entirely of plastic and feels a little cheap for a frequently adjusted component.
Overall, the bike is great. It’s sturdy and looks good. The display lists cadence (as RPM scaled 0-125), duration (as time), calories burned, speed, total distance, resistance (as level scaled 0-100), and heart rate (as pluse). Cadence and resistance are the two main levels you will need to track in order to follow along with Peloton’s classes. You can connect the bike to Peloton’s app (and others) via Bluetooth, however, unless you are using an iOS device, your measurements will not be displayed in Peloton’s app. Also, the app will not display your target cadence, resistance or output like it does on a Peloton bike so you will need to listen to the instructor’s commands. In fact, the Schwinn does not calculate output, a product of cadence and resistance, at all. Lastly, you will not see Peloton’s leaderboard or be able to communicate with other riders in the Peloton ecosystem. You should consider this if those features are what will motivate you to use the bike. For me, I use an Amazon Fire Tablet to participate and have enjoyed the workouts so far.
PRO-TIP: During assembly, before mounting the display bracket, make sure the leaver to adjust the handlebars forward and back is pointed forward. Otherwise, it will be trapped by the bracket and you will not be able to adjust the handlebars forward or back—something a Peloton bike cannot do.

Just set up bike last nite. Easy to follow instructions and on line videos too. Relatively compact size. Very smooth cycling motion and extremely quiet too. Needed bike to strengthen knee prior to upcoming surgery per MD. So far (one day) I do not feel any buyers remorse. BTW, I am a female senior citizen. Have not set up access to computer cycling program yet. It was supposed to be included with purchase.
