An encouraging outing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Growing up on Scooby-Doo episodes and the many movies, I decided to give Frankencreepy a shot after the disappointing (but slightly likeable) live action films and following direct to video animated films. While I passed on recent ones such as the wrestling feature, I found enough to like out of this outing to give future films a shot. The voice work was well done and some of the gags were quite funny. It was enjoyable to see influences of Edgar Wright thrown in there too. The story didn't always work, but it wasn't terrible. Hopefully, Frankencreepy will be the jump start Scooby-Doo needs to return to form.
