A sort of pre-quel to the first Scorpion King movie. Nice story line. Lot's of action.

This blu Ray was at a great price and good quality but enjoyed it.

It is a mildly entertaining film. Worth getting if you can get it on sale but don't spend full price or you will probably be disappointed.

Number 2 of a series that is fun to watch in sequence.

This was a pretty good movie and had quite a bit of action in it. It was incredibly random which sticks to it from the mummy movies. One thing that really annoyed me was that the minatour looked really fake and u could barely see it. If ur into the mummy and scorpion king movies then i recommend it. If not, then look for something else. I would give this three stars, but Randy "The Natural" Couture is in this so i gave it an extra star.

I was really scratching my head when finding out this movie was available...I didnt even know this movie existed no theater play nothing! So when I saw it at best buy it was on sale at a good price I couldn't pass it up! especially for blu ray disc. Randy coutre is pretty good not like the Rock but he was Ok! really the no name actors and actresses caught my eye their acting was good for being the beginning story line of the scorpion king THIS IS A PREQUEL!!!"RISE OF A WARRIOR" this is what it is! Now the special effects are awesome especially in HD quality...really if you liked the MUMMY series and Scorpion King with the rock and stories of egyptian culture and civilization this movie is for you!

I bought this movie for two reasons. First, I'm huge UFC fan, so I got it just to see Randy Couture. And yes, it was cool to see him in an action movie. And no, his not a good actor. Second, I liked all the other films in the Mummy series, including The Scorpion King. This one does't compare, at all! The special effects are terrible. This is more like a Sci-Fi flick. One thing I'll give it, they did a good job picking a guy to look like the Rock, too bad he's not a good actor. In fact, the acting all around was terrible. There are a few good fight scenes though, that's about it. So, if you liked the other Mummy films and you're wanting to see it for Randy Couture (as I was), then I recommend watching it, once. By that I mean rent it, don't buy it! Or just wait for it to come on the Sci-Fi Channel.

The acting is terrible, but the action tries to compensate.
