I had one of these with my Galaxy S6. It was great. Held my phone steady. When I purchased a Google Pixel 2 XL I needed to move the mount as it was in a bad location. So I purchased the CD holder mount. It works great. The mount holds steady in the CD player. However, the magnet is not strong enough to hold the Pixel 2 XL in one place. As I drive around the vibrations and bumps cause the phone to tilt and slide around. I would still strongly recommend this for smaller phones.

Love this as I am able to simply slide the holder into my CD player, grab my phone and put on the magnetic holder. Nothing attached to my phone, yet holds it extremely well.

I was looking for something to hold my phone as a GPS while away on vacation. This one works great and looks great. Well constructed and easy to install.

Purchased this after my originally-purchased iOttie mount wouldn’t work with my car. Magnetic mount works well with my iPhone X through it’s case. Came with two different metal plates depending on your phone type. Note, that the material that comes with it warns against Qi charging with the metal plate attached to your phone. The device fits securely in the CD slot without any wiggle/movement while driving. The phone holds well and I haven’t had any issues with the phone coming off, even on some pretty crappy Tampa Bay Area roads!

This car mounter fits nicely into the cd slot without being forced in. My iPhone holds just fine and it doesn’t seem to weigh down the mount.

Product is sturdy and the magnet is strong. I plan to buy another one.

This is a great find as long as you have a CD player in your vehicle. It holds anything I have put up on it case and all. Holds over bumps as long as you don't hit them hard enough to make the car fall apart. The only had thing is the 2 stick on items that go onto the back of the device you wish to hold up seen to mess with a wireless charging device. But I would rather plug my phone in when it needs to charge than have my phone sliding around in my car going down the road.

I have used the Scosche phone mounts for years. The new car didn't have a place for the dash mount I usually use so I opted for this CD mount. If you read the directions which obviously others did not the screw turns into a plastic part of the product and another plastic piece rises creating a small wedge in your CD slot. No damage to vehicle and you can still play CDs. As for blocking rear camera screen. . .take you're phone down until you have backed up. It's amazing.

This mount did exactly what I wanted. It installed super easy and is very sturdy. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I was looking for a phone mount for the car. Among all of the high priced obes was this. it was the last one and dead stock since it’s designed for a cd player slot. I monkeyed around and got it to fit in the dash board vent. I used the closest to the bottom louver and the up and down still works. In the winter remember to torn off the vent so it doesn’t blow hot air on the phone. I have a phone case and stuck the magnet on the case interior and not the phone back

When I saw this cellphone holder I was like, "Why didn't I think of that?". Ever had that happen to you? I've tried those goose neck style holders and never likes them. They block your view on the windshield while some didn't have a flexible neck. Those made it frustrating. This one is in the center of the dash and out of the way, yet high enough to do a video call if I had to. Even though it's adjustable think about how low your CD input is on your car.

I love the CD type mounts!! It's stable and small enough to not block too much of the console and buttons. My only grip is that after some time and weather changes the gripies on the part that goes into the player starts to melt/slip around. It still stays well in the player but needs to pushed in every so often.

Easy set up and use. Also very sturdy and stays in place when you hit a bump in the road.

Tried several car mounts and none worked the way I wanted. I have a card/money holder on the back of my iPhone 8+ case which adds weight and takes up a good part of the back of my case. Windshield adhesive models eventually fall off, vent models don’t hold and cup holder mounts are in the way. This one is very steady in the CD, has great visibility and magnets let me turn the phone however I want. Well worth the price.

I recently took a trip and needed to use phone for the map program. I tried 2 other mount units and they failed to properly hold my phone. I finally bought the MagicMOUNT CD Car Holder and it worked perfectly for me. Even on bumpy roads in the different states, this device held onto the phone without fail. Glad I found this product.

I have been looking for a good mount that doesn't use a suction cup, or mount using the air vents. When i found this mount i was skeptical of how well it would work. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it works very well and holds my phone perfectly. It may not work with all cd players, but it works perfectly for mine. Highly recommend this mount!

This phone holder is very sturdy, easy to install and can be removed easily. I had others and this is the best one I have found.

Best hands-free works like a charm we only have to put a small metal plate on the back of your phone or in between your phone and phone case so it’s not noticeable and the magnet holds as long as you don’t have a heavy duty case!

I tried a few and none of them were good for my car. This one was perfect! Perfect height holds great! Love it!
