Okay this is the one thing that holds my phone in the car that really works. It's easy to install is easy to move your phone where you want it.

I purchased this mount after purchasing the window version of the mount. I use the window and dash mounts on two vehicles. This mount can position the phone directly over the screen in the dashboard. This mount remains secure on the textured surface of typical vehicle dashboards. The magnetic base keeps the phone secure on the worst of roads. I appreciate that the magnet is on the base and not on the plate that attaches to my phone case. No more erased credit cards. I STRONGLY recommend this mount. I love this mount so much I have the vent, window and original versions in my car.

I give 5 star because all Scosche products I have used are really good with suction and also magnetic hold. But the product is a little smaller than what is shown in the image. I have attached a picture to see this product compared to a Magic mount for mobile device, SKU 9701223

Very pleased with this product sticks almost everywhere! The magnet that attaches to the back of your phone is very strong surprisingly enough. As a side note if the magic mount bottom gets dirty I use a baby wipe from time to time to clean it and it sticks good as new!

Unfortunately this product got broken after 10 months of usage

I wish I had gotten this magnetic mount a long time ago. I've had different mounts for my iPhone and GPS but they were always a hassle to put my devices in. With this mount, I just put my phone right up to the mount and it sticks like glue! I attached the adhesive backing to the back of my phone. I have an otterbox case and it is too hard to take apart. Have had no issues with my phone falling off and the mount has held very well; no issues with it at all. I just got the vent model for my phone and that works great too. So far no problems with my GPS either. Highly recommend...

I use it every day on my commutes to work and the gym. I love this dock because of how flexible it is which gives me the best viewing angles when using GPS. It is very easy to set up, all you do is take the back cover of your phone off, then place and center the magnet facing the dock then make sure the cover closes all the way with a clicking on each corner. I find the magnet is very strong and when going over bumpy terrain, I have no issues with shaking or risk of the phone falling off the dock plate. I recommend this to everyone!

So my family and I have tried a few items on the market to hold our phones up in clear view while we drive for directions. The phone vent type failed us because it kept falling down and was also partially hidden behind the steering wheel. The plan suction cup type window phone holder. This one was annoying because no matter how small the phone it kept falling off the window. It was also time consuming to ratchet it to lock in place and then to unlock it when your ready to leave your vehicle. Scosche - MagicMount Dash/Window Mount for Most GPS Device took out the falling of the window by using a renewable washable sticky gel on the inside of the suction cup. They also made it faster to mount your phone to the holder by using a magnet. You do not have to stick he metal directly to your phone if you are using a phone case. All you have to do is drop the thin piece of metal in the center of your phone case put your phone case back on your phone then just lay your phone one the holder and your ready to go.

I got this mount for my iPhone 6+. Although I couldn't get the suction cup to work on my dash, it works great on the windshield. The magnet is surprisingly strong, and worked great on my leather case. I recently bought another case (magpul), and it is significantly thicker and has ridges. I have had problems with it staying on securely. The concept and functionality is so good, I am considering ditching my new case (which I love btw), just so I can continue using the mount. In fact, I was about to purchase another mount to leave in our family vehicle so that I can easily mount my iPhone in either vehicle I use. Other than the problem with my new thicker case, I wish the mount was more easily flexible and easy to twist/ turn in the direction desired... it's pretty stiff. If you have a thinner type case, I highly recommend this product!

Mount remains secure on the windshield providing the screen is clean. Easy removal of the GPS while securing the item, yet the device is very secure while driving. Positioning the device is very easy. In general, a significantly better mount than the original Garmin supplied on for my Nuvi.

I have been looking for a mount for my phone that would keep my phone secure while driving and have less interference issues. I have found it in this mount! It's a super strong magnet that doesn't interfere with my data in my phone. This is great! I already recommended this to my daughter to get!

Everyday driving, offloading, and bumpy roads are no problem for this mount. The included magnets can either stick to your phone or case. I have an larger case and I simply slid mine between the two pieces. Even for a bulky case, this magnet holds. I ended up buying one for each car.

Works as advertised. I have a thin rubber case for my iphone and the magnet still holds well even through the case. I did use the larger mounting plate but just taped it to the back of my phone. Overall I'm very happy with the mounting bracket. Can't beat it for ease of use.

This was purchased to replace an older phone holder for my 2013 Honda Accord. I like the magnet for holding since you don't have to worry about what type of protective case you have on your phone but can't get the darn sticky part to stay and keep it on the dash. The package was opened and resealed when I purchased it so maybe someone else had the same problem. I wouldn't buy it again, in fact, I just ordered another one by a different manufacturer.

If you're a police office or someone who is tired of their cell phone flying across the car when you make a speedy turn or sudden stop then this product is for you. I never have to keep my phone in my pocket and try to dig it out while I'm driving (for work related issues), just grab and go or tap away. My only issue with it is that the adhesive on the back of the magnet could be a bit stronger. Even after cleaning off the back of my TOMTOM with an alcohol pad it came off. Works great with cell phones though.

Have tried others but have not been satisfied. This mount works great! It is super easy to attach and phone stays in any position you want. With the magnet you can take off and put back on easily. Holds IPhone 6 Plus great.

it works perfect with my iphone 6 and my wife's 6+. The magnet is awesome and easy to use. I have it stuck to my car dashboard next to the stereo, so its perfectly handy. I already bought a second one for my brother.

This car cell phone holder works really well. I have my iPhone in a case and first mounted the magnet to the phone under the case and it held just fine to the holder. However, the magnet was a bit too thick so the plastic screen cover didn't retain the touch sensitivity in the area where the magnetic was mounted. So I put on the case itself and that solved the issue and still mounts perfectly. I had a previous holder that I had to manually release and tighten to hold the phone which was a pain and it eventually broke. I was skeptical at first that the magnet would hold my iPhone 6s with a case as I thought it would be too heavy, but it holds up like a champ. Highly recommend.

My hubby needed one for our new car, he is going to do Uber. He did a little research online, but I went in to buy it for him. I looked at all the different ones and decided this one would be the best. You can stick it on the windshield, but we use it on the dash. It has magnets that you attach to your phone (either inside the phone itself or under the cover). Then you just put it up by the magnet on the holder and it sticks like crazy. My hubby shook it around, drove over very bumpy roads, stopped quick, and all that to get it to fall off and it DID NOT! It is worth the $29.99!!

Needed to replace a cheap mount. This one came highly recommended and I agree. Easy to mount and sturdy.
