I received my order promptly and read all the instructions. The unit is very compact and well designed. The only issue I have is that the magnet is not powerful enough to work though my phone case to make a strong enough connection with the magnetic mount. My phone slides down and off. The only remedy would be to mount the metal plate to the outside of my phone case. However, this cannot be done because the center of the back of my case is raised (not enough surface area for even the small plate to mount/stick securly). So, I must buy a new phone case in order for this to work!

The Scosche Dash mount is very sturdy and holds well on your dash. The magnet hold the phone up with no problem.

Must constantly be tightening the locking nut to maintain position. Also, the magnet is just barley strong enough to hold the phone when the steel plate is located between the phone and the phones protective cover.

No more fumbling for my phone to try to see nav directions! No more taking my eyes off the road! With this wonderful cell phone mount I just have to glance at my screen because it is safely and conveniently mounted right where I can easily see it!

My Wife and I drive a semi coast to coast completing one round trip evry week.,week in week out ..this mount is really small and grips my galaxy6 with case and holds it in place very well. I really like the compact size. over 6,000 miles every week

Works somewhat okay. Sticks well to surfaces but the magnet on the mount sticks out too far so if you have a large Phone it will dangle off the mount the actual mount doesn't hold the weight of the phone well at all. Wish I could have gotten something that fits In the vents or holds my phone up better

Loved so much ! Works great we bought another for my dad and he looves it also.

This is about my 3rd holder for my cell phone and by far the best. I had to put the magnet toward the bottom of my phone and it still has a strong hold. There is even a small hook in the back of holder for the car charge cord to snap into so it's not dangling all over the place.

I believe my wife will enjoy this in her vehicle. I believe it will help with seeing and using the phone safely in the vehicle.

Great idea for a holder to use magnets, but it drops the phone when going over bumps or just normal road conditions. It dropped my phone (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge) when driving on the highway and now my phone needs to be replaced because it hit the seat rail and cracked the screen. A costly lesson on my part so please don't make the same mistake!!
