While I absolutely adored the nostalgia of this Scream movie, I'm moderately disappointed by the melodrama surrounding the steelbook edition. Firstly, my original preorder was cancelled, due to insufficient inventory (something that's horrendously disappointing in the collectors' sphere currently), but when I was able to purchase it at a local brick and mortar store, even then my copy was damaged; read: the steelbook was smushed in on both the front and the back sides of the case. I get it, there's one organization who's producing these (ahem, incredibly sought after editions), but when there's not enough to fulfill orders placed months ahead of the release date, then they arrived damaged AND they're the only copy left locally? It's just disheartening to my fragile nerd soul.

Can I get the $400 gift card if I say “it was alright”. I like the 4k upgrade, but expected more work.

Glad to have found one in store! Steelbooks have been getting crazy lately, with the only chance of getting one is to order it online, & take the risk that it either gets lost in shipping, or that the person only sent it in a bubble mailer and the steelbook gets damaged from shipping.

The team behind this ("Radio Silence") did a great job bringing the series back. Probably my favorite sequel behind Scream 2, which is saying a lot considering it is the first without Wes Craven. It could use more chase/pursuit scenes but overall completely nailed the Scream vibe. Grab this to catch up before Ghostface takes NYC in Scream 6.

I was a little skeptical when I first heard about this. I then heard the buzz about how good it was so I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did because I enjoyed every minute of it. They really stepped it up when it comes to the kills. The first three Scream movies are so tame compared to 4 and 5. The steelbook with Ghostface on the front is perfect. Very well done

For this NOT being a Wes Craven film because of his passing I have to say they did an AMAZING job making this film to fit it just like the great 4 films before it. Is this the best one? No. Part 1 is OF COURSE but this was WICKED AWESOME. Trust me. Buy this movie and watch it. If you are a fan or new the the films ( WE DONT COUNT THE HORRIBLE MTV SHOW) then definetly watch this movie.

I found Scream 5 to be a fun movie that reminds me a lot of the first Scream. Good scares with an entertaining cast. Ordered the steelbook and best buy once again sent the movie in a box rather than a bubble mailer. Steelbook was in perfect condition when it arrived. Thanks again Best Buy for listening to your customers. I will be buying more steelbooks in the future.

Great sequel/relaunch/requel of the franchise. You get some great new characters while revisit the ones you love.Scary and funny as you’d expect from a Scream film. Sharp script and great direction from Ready or Not directors that pay great homage to Wes Craven. The 4K Steelbook is cool. Nice cover art. Had a little ding from shipping. Barely noticed.

Everything about this is amazing. The steel book artwork is simple, yet perfectly captures Scream. The inside artwork is a great poster of all of the characters holding the mask. The movie itself is worthy of the Scream franchise and is my personal favorite since the original. The acting is great, story is tight and keeps you focused at all times.

The movie is great and its what I like to see from a new Scream film. I didnt guess who the killer was either so thats a plus. The new Scream is a great new entry and up there with the rest of the franchise except the original imo. No sequel in this franchise will ever top the original due to nostalgia alone. The steelbook is nice and simple, which I do like sometimes. Recommended.

If you’re a hardcore fan of the Scream franchise, this one shouldn’t disappoint you. There’s a nice balance of paying homage to the original and starting something new and fresh. The new characters fit in decently with the old ones, and some of the kills are pretty cool also. It’s a good setup for what comes next and leaves room for improvement.

Glad I got the steelbook because it is an actual combo pack meaning it has 4K plus Blu-ray plus digital. I feel bad for people who get damaged steelbooks because they are hit or miss. Its always best to try to pick it up in store if possible so that way you can check it and make sure it looks OK

I absolutely loved the movie but the steelbook itself came in perfect condition! I really only collect my absolute favorite movies in steelbooks and when I saw scream on opening night I had to have it lol it came with no scratches and everything was packed well inside!!
