Love this controller! I play a lot of FPS games, and having the programmable buttons on the bottom has been a game-changer! I have had two elite controllers before this. I was having some stick drift issues with the Elite controllers and decided to spend the money to get this controller because of the apparent anti-stick drift claim. Read a ton of reviews and then decided to pull the trigger. Having a bunch of rewards to use softened the blow of the very pricey controller but worth it so far.

I swapped the instinct pro for this controller. I will say this is better feeling and more robust in hand than the IP, but I found the large “paddles” stiffer to activate than the IP. The instinct pro was a great controller (though felt cheaply made) but no built in battery is a no go IMO. After a few days of using the Valor pro, I found myself going back to my elite 2. I saw no real difference with the TMR sticks but I did not use if long enough to see if it helps eliminate stick drift. I’ll be returning this soon to BB (thank you total tech) but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad controller, it just didn’t work out well for me. I say buy it and give it a shot.

I am an Elite Series 2 Owner so that's what I am used to. The stick on the Valor Pro are amazing. Instantly noticeable and if you have not tried TMR do yourself the favor. You can hold shot on an opponent easier and longer. You can find a player much quicker. Sticks on this out of the box are tunes beautifully and feel perfect. Face buttons and triggers are great as well. I like that RB LB come down the side little bit..
This controller also feels great in the hands. A little bigger than the Series X and elite controllers.
The big caveat on these scuf controllers is the back buttons. You basically get two Because the reverse firing upper buttons is the worst design out there. We are supposed to push up with the back of our fingers? awful.
IF you can live with two back buttons they are ok. But the force it takes to press these on the valor is too much. It strained my hands eventually. The Envision I found used was much more clicky but the ones on the valor are not useable for my style. I rate the series 2 back buttons as basically perfect. Paddles that are easy to press on all four fingers. Outside of that issue this is a stellar controller.

Feels great to hold, works well since I have larger hands. Changing profiles or connection types (xbox/ pc/ bluetooth) is easy. Negatives are that the instructions offer little to no help on how to perform functions like remapping buttons. Also having an issue where the controller will just stop accepting inputs from both joysticks and the dpad, but all other buttons work. Restarting sometimes helps.

I’ve been using the SCUF Valor Pro Wireless, and overall, it really does feel like a high-end controller built for serious gaming. The drift-resistant TMR sticks are one of the biggest highlights is that they feel precise and smooth, and I love knowing they’re built to last. I also like having multiple ways to connect, whether it’s the low-latency 2.4GHz dongle, Bluetooth, or just plugging in with USB-C. The four rear paddles and instant triggers have been great for shooters, and the grip and overall build quality feel premium. Being able to tweak everything in the SCUF Companion App, from stick sensitivity to button mapping, really helps dial it in.
That said, it’s not perfect. The paddle placement feels a little awkward for my hands, and the sticks felt stiff until I adjusted the settings. Bluetooth isn’t super reliable on PC, so I mainly stick to the 2.4GHz dongle. I’ve also noticed some small quirks with audio when using a wired headset, which lines up with what other users have mentioned. Battery life is fine, but nothing amazing. Still, even with those issues, I really like using the Valor Pro Wireless; it feels like a controller built for performance, and once I tuned it to my liking, it became a strong part of my setup.

Bought the black/clear version for Xbox Series X + PC in early 2025 for $179.
Pros
• Instant trigger stops + adjustable hair triggers are perfect for FPS (Apex, CoD, Hellblade II).
• Four remappable paddles feel clicky and never misfire (better than Elite Series 2 in my hands).
• Grip coating is excellent – zero slip even after 3-hour sweaty sessions.
• Share button and mute button placement are spot-on.
• Swappable thumbsticks (came with one tall domed, one short concave) actually stay put.
Cons
• Still no Hall-effect sticks in 2025 – but the TMR sticks should compensate just fine.
• Weight is noticeably heavier than stock; takes a day to adjust.
• $179 feels steep when the regular Elite is often $130 on sale.
Bottom line: Best paddles on any controller right now. If you play competitive shooters and hate claw grip, grab it.

Love this controller so far, it definitely has a different feel to it than the wolverine v2 from razor as that is the one i had previously owned. Especially the way they have the paddles placed. They feel satisfying to press and I like how the triggers feel like mouse clicks when you have the hair triggers switched on. It’s pretty light for being a wireless controller. I kind of expected to have some heft to it. Overall seems like a solid controller especially from a company that’s been in this business for a long time. i remember when i was a teen trying to get a scuff controller. Excited to see what others they may come out with in the future

This controller is very good The sticks are rather loose though so if you like tight sticks this one does not contain tensioners and also the bumpers are quite long so they go down the side of the controller a little bit so be prepared to accidentally hit them until you get used to it overall great build quality and great feel.

I bought this for my fiancé and he absolutely loves it. Right away we both noticed how much lighter it is compared to previous models, which makes it a lot more comfortable for him to use throughout the day. The dial for muting and unmuting is one of his favorite features — it’s super convenient and works smoothly.
The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because of a couple of small things that could be improved, but overall it’s a great product and definitely an upgrade from older versions. He’s really happy with it, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something lightweight with easy, intuitive controls

If your use to a standard controller and afraid of spending to much to upgradefor this controller dont be. It is a amazing controller and easy to hook up and use. It is lighter then a standard controller. Has solid button response. Triggers give you the option of regular button range or short pull. Analog sticks are different and something to get use to but very smooth and responsive. Has a great battery life and is comfortable in the hands. Playing for a couple hours is easy and no strain. Have only had it for a month.

This is the best controller I have used. I love the no drift sticks. It has had a few disconnects but that is expected with a new controller. Hopefully they figure that out with a firmware update.

This controller was a game changer for me. I’ve purchased the Microsoft Elite 2 controllers over the years and have had nothing but problems with stick drift on them. This SCUF controller feels like butter on the thumb sticks. Been playing BF6 with it for about a month now and have had zero issues. The controller seems to fit my hand much more ergonomically than others as well. I love the mouse click style feedback on the triggers too. Amazing controller!

The texture on the controller provides a ton of grip and feels good in the hand. I think it's good for people even with bigger hands because the handles are so deep and pronounced.

Satisfyingly clicky and accurate. Like all the recent pro type controllers the weight feels nice in your hands. It has Bluetooth but is not iOS compatible.

The pros. The controller was nice and i really liked the feel and placement of the back buttons on the controller way better than the razer wolverine pro. I have big hands and the razer felt like it was made for kids size hands. The cons. Thimbsticks felt wat to loose with no way to add tension to them like the xbox elite. The app you use to set up is a joke! Very basic. Extremely difficult to set up. I returned and went with the razer. Over all much better controller.
