It simulated sailing well, but the combat is basic as well as repetitive missions.

I bought this laptop for my 12 year old grandson. This is what he really wanted and I was able to purchase it because it was REALLY on sale. It had all his requirements. I was also able to extend the financing, as I am on Social Security. Thank you Best Buy. Our go to store for my grandsons.

Because of how HARD it is! It becomes almost an obsession to keep playing and overcome all the problems this game has , as mentioned by other reviews. This gives a great sense of accomplishment, and that feeling is worth any price for any game!

Fun, doable but not designed for single players so that’s a lost star, unique justifying purchase, takes ungodly amounts of time to earn gold to unlock things so that’s a star, not clear on how to complete most quests so for game play that’s a star. I’m a casual gamer logging 20 hours a week in games and it’s frusterating at times.

Great game. But you better like to play online or it’s not for you.

I love this game. I can't stop playing. The battles are so much fun, especially if you make friends and have a crew

The game is really cool, the way you sail the ship, the map navigation, the world, all awesome! But then you look for things to do.. and there is very, very little. They say they are going to add content, so I would wait to see if the game gets any missions before you buy. It's got so much potential, but just isn't there yet.

Its nt a bad game but it is very repetitive and a little to tedious.

Bought this over a year ago and we are still playing.

I wasn't sure what to expect, the idea of pvp pirates seemed unique but I wasn't really sold on the art style. Yet, after playing for a few weeks I can honesty say it is one of my current obsessions. The quests can be a bit repetitive but I know that new content will be added soon!

I gave this as a gift, since it was one of the many games on his list. He loved it!

i love everything about this game visually. however the game is very shallow.

Initially this game was fun to play but it becomes very tedious and repetitive.

My son said the game got boring very quickly. Does not play it anymore.

Only problem single player mode is not very good need o to play online with group

He enjoys Sea of Thieves, but not as much as Fort Nite because none of his friends have the Sea of Thieves game.

This is exactly as advertised and promoted. I got what I expected and the game is easy to get hooked on. Great.

Tried to download PC version but need to upgrade video card. Preferred Xbox route

Was a lot of fun at release but then it gets extremely stale!

For a $60 game this is an embarrassment. After one hour of gameplay I promise that you will have seen all this game has to offer and it never gets better. You aren't working toward anything, the money you earn can only be spent on cosmetics for your ship or character, so you never get stronger, faster or anything like that. Makes you wonder why you are even playing this game when you aren't working towards a goal. The game plays like so: 1. Get on a ship. 2. Follow map to island. 3. Dig up treasure/fight skeletons. 4. Return to outpost trade in gold to buy a shirt that does nothing. Yup that's the game. $60, have fun. Stay AWAY!
