After nearly a month, I can report this drive is exceeding my expectations. I bought it for a storage/backup D: drive to replace one that had failed. The install and boot up went smooth. Even old Windows Vista read it automatically, so I never had to mess with BIOS/C-MOS. Once in Windows, it was just a matter of formatting, then I was off and running. With a 64mb buffer, the speed is terrific. Noticeably faster than my C: drive which is a 640gb with only a 16mb buffer. Hopefully, it will continue to run this reliably for years to come.

This new memory hard drive works very good on a Playstation 4.Perfect choice.

It do the work. I need a replacement drive for my NAS and this drive do the work, however the drive was too slim for my old NAS but I was able to install it.

I needed a replacement hard drive for another, older Seagate drive that "died". And, I needed one that was rated at 7200 rpm, and had at least 32 Meg of cache. Well, the one I purchased, another Seagate drive, fit my requirements exactly! The price was real good, and by being able to apply my $50 Rewards Certificate, I was able to purchase the drive for less than $10! And, it performs perfectly.

Was able to replace a bad internal HD with this drive no problem. Stable HD.

I like how easy it was to load and the best part is you get a lot of memory for your money.

I got this for Christmas for one of my kids' computers. For years, I have had bad luck with WD and good luck with Seagate, and the price was fair, so thought it would be a good deal. When it arrived, I thought it was odd that it did not come in a retail box - just a bare drive in a static bag - even though the description had no indication it was OEM or refurbished. After two installs that corrupted in 2 days or less, I went to look for the packing sheet to get the order info, and I saw on the bottom of the inner cardboard box was a sticker saying "DEFECTIVE INVENTORY". I don't know whether it came from Seagate that way, or if someone else had purchased and returned it to BestBuy before me, but regardless it should never have made it to my door when it was already known to be bad. If you want to take the risk on buying this drive, be sure to inspect the packaging carefully and make sure yours isn't a defective return right from the start!

This drive has some great read and write speeds. I got this drive to replace my WD Blue drive because I needed more storage. It is a drive worth getting

Got a defective drive from Best Buy that Seagate then replaced with a "repaired" drive instead of a new one. The customer service rep said that was standard policy. Best Buy did the right thing and sent me a brand new one but then I had to pay shipping to return 2 HD's. A total of $22.75. Neither company would pay shipping. Bad policey from SeaGate to return a "repaired" drive for a brand new one and trying to convince me I should be OK with that.
