I purchased this internal hard drive to upgrade my 160 GB PS3. After installing it now has over 800 GB. Great investment for the price.

I was in a pickle & needed a new drive. To bad Best Buy only has "some" solid state drives in store, otherwise I would be reviewing one of those instead. Anyways, the drive works, stays cool, and is very quiet. The "very quiet" part is due to the drive only being 5400RPM, so that keeps the drive cool & quiet, however slower than a 7200RPM drive and obviously way slower than an SSD drive. It isn't painfully slow & honestly if you have a platter drive in your laptop, you won't even notice a difference.

I'm so glad I simply replaced my hard drive instead of buying a new laptop. It runs faster and cooler than it used to.

I bought this for my PS3 and it works great. Read some reviews that the PS3 only accepts up to 1TB and this worked good

I was very worried that I would mess up changing out my failing hard drive, but I did not want to pay someone to do it for me. On my laptop, it was just the removal of a few screws, popping out the failing hard drive, slipping this one in, and tightening the screws. Was much simpler than I imagined. Then, put in my windows disc, re-installed, and everything was as good as new. I am extremely happy, plus, this disc drive is bigger than my old one by a good amount.

Great drive for my Dell Inspiron. It fit flawlessly, and since it was replacing a 500gb drive it doubled the available storage. The drive is quiet, came up with no issues and has been working fine. It is a bit slower than some of the other drives available, but for the price, it's tough to beat.

This drive is very quiet and very fast. It's a great replacement for a failed drive.

Packaging/Availability: Item was well packaged on a plastic case and box was not broken or damaged. There was only 1 available at the store. I could not buy it online, it kept giving me error messages. That is why I went to the store. Performance: I bought this unit to upgrade the hard drive of the PlayStation 4. I did research prior to buying it so I was 100% sure that this was the one I needed for my PS4. Is strongly constructed and assembled. Easy to connect to my PS4 and is easy to use on an external casing if you have one. It did improve the performance of my PS4 since this HD is faster than the one I had on the PS4. Customer Service: I was greeted by an employee as soon as I walked into the store. He referred me to another employee on the computer section who helped me getting this HD quickly, which I did.

Back in 2009 when I bought my MacBook Pro it only had a 250 gig hard drive through the years I've increased it to a 500 gig hard drive. I'm a DJ and carrying around external hard drive sometimes is more than I need. When I found this 1TB Drive now have plenty a room for my music and most important it fits internally into my MacBook Pro. No more external hard drives! Woot woot!

Easy install and works great. Price is similar to others but I prefer this one.
