Great price, does what it says it's going to do. Really no complaints at all.

I used it to back up all of my photos and such from my laptop. My laptop seems to be running much faster now. I have not yet used it to access any of the data, but I assume it is fine.

After reading the reviews on line, I was very positive about getting an external hard drive that was described as easy to use. However, there were no instructions with the hard drive or on-line that explained how to use it. This was very disappointing. Through trial and error, I was able to do what I needed to do, but felt totally lost and angry!

Worked fine in the beginning, transferred a lot of files without any problems. Shortly after that, could not access the drive, asked me if I wanted to format it. Plugged it into another computer, recognizes it too but cannot access it at all. Tried it on a third pc, same thing. Waiting for Seagate tech support to get back to me.

You will regret it. I bought the external hard drive and used it 5 times in 6 months and then it failed. They won't honor the warranty. Lesson learned - buyer beware. I learned to never buy a Seagate product again. I would truly think twice about buying this product if I were you. I wish someone had warned me.

Don't waste your time or money on this product, does not work with apple products, nor does it work with Xbox 360. I format it for mac then it will only work with mac now. Boo to Segate and boo to Bestbuy.com, thanks both of you for the headache.

This was less than a year old. I lost all my kids photos from when they were little. I am not sure what I was thinking putting them on one drive. I guess I was trusting in Seagate. Never again!
