Good value for the money. I have been using Seagate HD's for about 10 years. I've never had any major problems. A few have gone bad over the years, but not until after exceeding their service lives. I have a fairly high-use home NAS (for streaming) that contains all of our media files. You can get better HD's, but for the price it's tough to beat this one (especially if you price match beforehand - check Amazon, etc.)
