Seems suited to DVR storage extension
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to replace my 1.5 year old WD Green 2 TB drive that I was using in an e-SATA dock as an extension to my Direct TV HD-DVR. Disappointed that it lasted less than 2 years, but the storgage capacity is so large that I felt that I needed another. Pretty much just plug and play--set it in the cradle and reset the DVR. Time will tell if it lasts.
