Purchased this 2TB drive to replace a 1TB failed iMac drive. Easy installation with no issues. The drive is quick and quiet and I'm very pleased. Came with an SATA interface cable but I did not notice, nor need, the other items listed as "included" here in the web description: screws, owners manual, software CD-ROM.

I have worked with and on (my own) computers for over 15 years and have found that Seagate consistently delivers quality at a reasonable price. So far that is this case with this drive. I fully expect it to last for years to come.

Great storage capacity for a decent price! Operates smoothly very efficient and quiet, I was able to clean up my system with a freh start to windows installed into this baby, no problems so far, and surprisingly not full.

While this doesn't quite compare to the speed of an SSD, after installing Windows 8, this 2TB HDD boots into my desktop within about 8 seconds. There's nothing I'd rather go with than this HDD for both speed and storage.

I purchased this Seagate to replace a failing internal hard drive in my desktop computer at home. After reading reviews for multiple other hard drives I determined that this was the best bang for my buck. It was easy to install (it's a SATA drive), and easy to format. It is fast enough for my needs, and has been quiet and reliable (Installed for the last 2 months in a desktop running 99% of the time). I recommend this hard drive for someone who is looking to replace/upgrade their old one. If you need performance and speed, get a SSD as your boot drive and use this one for your storage drive.

The hard drive on my desktop was failing (BSOD) and I needed a replacement. The Seagate - Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" Internal Hard Drive was a great replacement, because the storage was greater than my original drive, it installed in less than 5 minutes, it was a good match for the rest of my system, and the price of the drive made it a great value for the money. I'm completely satisfied with this purchase.

Good product, makes it very easy when other drives have problems. Installed in a desktop machine and reinstalled the OS and got it running great. The 7200 RPM is a plus and a great performance drive

This drive has been running in an Ubuntu web and e-mail server for 3 weeks so far without a problem. Easy install and no arguments from my computer's BIOS or the operating system, it just worked.

This hard drive is fast and for the price is much better than average. I will buy another one just like it. Best Buy is great for selling great products and this hard drive is one of them.

I installed 2 of these 2 TB Seagate drives in a RAID setup in my Gaming tower and haven't had any problems with them since installation. Setup was quick and easy.

I installed this 2 gb internal hard drive into my apple computer. Has 4 times the memory that the original computer came with, and works great. I would highly recommend this product.

Took a hit on my system drive so I had to get new disk. Decided to upgrade in size. The install was about 2 minutes. Everything worked great so I upgraded my other driove too.

Have had this drive for almost 2 weeks now. It's fast and reliable so far. Does not come with SATA cable, which makes me wonder why it's labeled as a retail kit.

Works perfectly for my Xbox One. Plug it in, format it, and works perfectly. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for more space for their XB1.

I have about 10 of these as archive and work drives for video production. I would recommend to anyone. I use in an external dock for quick swapping.

I've used these for a couple of years to back-up my clients HD video projects...HD and 4k video is massive in it data size...buying a couple of these for redundant back-up is the only way ot keep cost down and feel good about the data be safe and there when we need it! And I can put them in a dock and transfer the data or use it right off the drive...it is a "best buy" for my biz...

I plugged the disk in and it worked as expected. Was a great replacement for a 1TB disk. Love the extra capacity and high write performance.
