great hard drive! got it with price match and thus value was even better no hassles from Sales Associates after installing, ran CrystalMark Speed Tests and show very good transfer rates, which is what I needed as will be storing all my pics, music, and videos on itl Very pleased

So far so good, but the true test of a hard drive comes with time. I replaced a failing 1 TB WD hdd with this 2TB hdd. Gave me plenty of storage (for the time being) for all my movies, pictures and music.

Works great...no problems. Easy install and works without a hitch.

I own 3 of these, bought at different times/locations to prevent the dreaded "bad batch" that sometimes happens with ALL hard drive manufacturers. As long as the hard drives pass a full format and at least 72 hours of stress testing, they are usually good to go for years.

Great value, durable - great data transfer rate. The only negative thing I can find is the tight location of SATA plug. I had a difficult time getting it connected. If it was placed more towards the center, installation would have been a little easier. Would buy another!

What can I say, I plugged it in, it works, just what HD is supposed to do.

2TB SATA drive, fits desktop exactly as expected. Having lots of space is nice and the drive was cheap. If you care about space, go with this drive. If you care more about speed than space, you might consider an SSD drive. Nothing wrong with this drive, but the nature of SSD's makes them much faster.

Bought as a replacement for 1 TB Western Digital drive that failed. Pulled out the old drive and replaced with this one. Restored data from backup, rebooted and it worked beautifully. After a few weeks, still no problems at all.

For the price, excellent replacement internal hard drive for my desk top computer. Installation was very easy and the documentation was excellent for this purpose. The software documentation for formatting the drive left a lot to be desired. Instructions were not clear and concise. Had to go to the web site for additional help.

Lots of storage for a great price , really good choice

Have used seagate drives for many years. Always been reliable and never any issues. Tried other drives before and they crashed out just after a year. Have never had a seagate drive die on me.
