Was in the process of scanning old family slides and due to high res desire, needed more space. Added this drive and format assigned letter without missing a beat. Glad to have extra space

I have an iMac, so I wasn't excited about the install process, but it was remarkably easy. This drive, like any other Seagate I've owned, came in simple packaging, was easy to install, and came with no surprises.

My C: drive crashed and this was highly recommended by a friend of mine. He's my tech-genius-go-to-guy, so I always hold his recommendations in high regard. Works well, no complaints!

I purchased this as a secondary hard drive for my desktop computer. I installed it myself with minimal hassle. Love that I can store photos and videos now with no worries about filling my main drive.

I have been using Seagate Barracuda drives for some time. They have been very reliable for my use. When the drive for my photo library became full, it was a simple choice to move to this larger drive.

I realized as I walked out of the store that I needed a 2.5 and not a 3.5. I returned this product. The size was too big for the PS4 upgrade. The one I ended up with has the same specs.

It's a hard drive so you know what it's supposed to do. All I can say is after a year it is still doing what it does. Reads are fast, storing data has had no issue and everything still works great.

Would like to have faster transfer speeds, since it being a new hard drive in my PC, but it works as I expected. Does NOT include SATA cable and screws as described on Best Buy's website.

Seagate gets good reviews for reliability. It's a product I know. The customer support is superior. One of the most outstanding experiences I have ever had when I needed help.

Easy to setup and partition. Good transfer speed and syncs quickly with my computer. I purchased a small hard case to keep this in as well, and I have had zero issues with the device.

It's a good backup drive to your main ssd. Doesn't come with any cables, don't let the "I read the box" best buy associate fool you. They try their best I guess lol. Performance wise, it's a typical hdd. Great amount of memory for the price.

I've been an avid SSD user the for years now for the speed, but it was finally time for me to get an HDD for space with my steam library. This hard drive works just as it should. Massive storage at a good price, just wish it was faster..

I needed to replace a 2TB drive that suddenly died in my RAID 5 drive storage cabinet and this was the only suitable replacement I could grab easily without driving out of my way or waiting to mail order one, It's working just fine so far.

Picked one up to replace a failed 2TB drive in a RAID 5 array. Install was dirt simple. Drive rebuild was 3x as fast...7200 RPM baby! Will be replacing the other 4 drives as funding becomes available.

overall, excellent hard drive. Easy to install and rock solid. The only thing negative is the formating which takes forever but it is 2 TB after all.

I have always had good luck with Seagate drives. I use them in all my computer's and server's. This one was a new back up drive for a server. Not to replace a dead drive just to upgrade storage.

My older 7200 hard drive was surprisingly faster, after doing a little research I was under the impression that the hybrid drives would be a little faster then the previous versions of the standard 7200 HD. It's not horrible and for the money it is a good buy.

I'll keep this short and sweet. It plugged right in, was recognized by the computer, and aside from the requisite formatting of the drive to NTFS, it worked like a champ.
