I bought this HDD but had to return it because my external USB case didn't recognize it. I don't think it was a defective drive because my case is several years old and this could be the reason of no detection. Didn't try many options, just returned it and bought a 1TB drive like the one I wanted to replace.

I have a couple of these in separate computers one of which is a constantly accessed media drive. Haven't had one fail yet after two years and have had zero problems so far. Easily recommended.

Seagate drives are the best in my opinion. Best Buy Has the best price and selection and I did not have to wait 2 or 3 days for it. Went to store and took it home same day.

I have no complaints so far, I was able to use it as a back up hard drive.

I purchased this to install in my NAS Iomega / Lenovo storage using a raid setup. One of my disk drives failed and I purchased this as a replacement. It installed easily and works perfect

Bought the seagate barracuda to replace another drive that was starting to show some issues. Ive had barracuda's drive before with no issues. When I plugged it in, it fired up and kicked right in. Good drive for the money.

I purchased this hard drive to install in my HP ProLiant Micro Server. Just had to install it in the drive bay and it was ready. Once installed, it performed as the specifications said it would.

Bought this to replace my Hard Drive that was included in my computer from the manufacturer. So far it works exactly as I expected it to. What more to say its a Hard Drive.

First you can't complain when you are able to grab a Hard Drive that works off the shelf and have it run almost non stop for a month after you install it before you reboot. The drive is doing its job very well. No complaints.

I bought this on sale for $69.99 and it was well worth the price. Decided on Seagate vs. Western Digital as it was a WD hard drive that I replaced after it crashed!

Lots of room, you can't beat 2TB. I don't really know if it can do 6gb/s, you'd have to test that out yourself. I'm a computer guy in Naples, I did it for a customer, so far so good.

Good Drive. Not great but good. 7200 Speed. Quality not grey market.

So far the new hard drive has performed in an excellent manner. I did not know much about it but, it was recommended by the geek squad as a excellent replacement for the disk that had started to fail after 51/2 years.

This lasted for about five years before showing errors. Replaced with the same model and it's working fin.

I really like this Seagate drive. Very fast and efficient performance so far, and no real issues. I'll probably purchase it again in the future as a second drive.

Purchased on sale, retail package. Works great and still running.

This is a great way to add storage for all that digital content I've been saving up. Just remember to get sata cable with it to connect to your mother board.

Replaced a failing "green" drive with this one. Verified it was 7200 rpm at the store before purchasing. Much faster and no more crashing due to the failing drive.
