Purchased as part of a 2TB array for a media server. As usual, never any issues with Seagate products!

I bought this Harddrive in May 16 to expand the space for my sons PS4. It worked well for 3-4 weeks. Then all of a sudden the big system said that it could not find the hard drive. Long story short after some testing I found that the HD was corrupted. BB wouldn't give my money back but they did allow me exchange it for a new one. So far so good with the new one. Only time will tell. Just make sure to get any warrenty that is offered. A mistake that I will not make again.

It was great price for the size of the drive. I never owned a Barracuda drive before, for that matter never owned a SATA drive before always been IDEs. This was fast to isntall in my barebones machine and the isntall of Windows 8 on it was a quicker than quick. The only thing I didn't like was the small jumper that I ended up not needing anyway. To put the jumper on I woudl have used tweazers.

I find that I always get the best performance from these hard rives for the money.

It's hard to get excited about a hard drive, but this is exactly as advertised. Big and fast and works fine.

This was very easy to install and has been a comfort knowing I have a hard drive backup at all times.

Installed quickly in my new PC. Super fast and stable. I would recommend this expansion hard drive.

At the time of this writing, I purchased this HDD for $89.99 which is a great deal for a drive that's 2TB and not to mention 7200RPM as well. Read and write speeds are great and is a good solution for those wanting massive amounts of storage space without breaking the bank. At first I was going to replace my Western Digital 1TB Green drive but instead of paying $99 for only 1TB and slower speeds due to the power control, I decided to go with the Barracuda instead.

Great price for the storage that is given. Seagate is a great company for hard drive put it in my IMac

So far loving the hard drive, running 24/7 on my server, pretty silent with occasional sound, gets a little warm. Speedy enough for me, reliability is too early to tell.

We are happy with these drives. They seem to be a good drive for the price. No complaints at this point.

I used this to replace a failed drive in a Fantom external drive enclosure. Worked like original.

This brand and model came highly recommended from the internet and experienced friends. Unfortunately, the unit I initially bought was a brick straight out of the box. It did not spin up at all. Thankfully, I brought it back to the store and they exchanged it with another unit, no questions asked. The replacement drive works great and I have not had any issues with it. Best Buy has a relatively little-known price match policy, which I was also able to take advantage of. I'd recommend checking around, as I was able to save myself about $10-15 by getting them to price match another local retailer.

I bought this hard drive to replace the original that came with my Dell desktop. Set-up super easy!

Was able to download and clone my current 2TB Drive using Seagate software. System works perfectly.

I purchased this hard drive as a secondary drive for increased storage. I have had it running in a small form factor case for awhile. Installation was easy as I've installed dozens of hard drives before. I went with Seagate as it was cheaper than the Western Digital brand. I have no complaints against Western Digital.

Only needed a couple 1 TB drives for my computer and wasn't expecting 2 TB for around the same price

Great replacement drive to DVR security system. Upgraded to 2TB so we can keep data twice as long.

Go thru too much memory for the 1TB that came with computer, nice deal/sale on 2TB. Working well.

Yep, it works. What else do you need to know? I installed it in 15 minutes with a screwdriver.
