It installed easily and copying from the almost full Seagate 1TB that it replaced was simple. Copying 1TB of data is not fast, no matter how fast the drive you use. Used for video, music and picture repository.

Installed a 2TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive for Desktops and love all the space I now have on my "c" drive. Also have a smaller drive as a plug in. Have had no problems with a Seagate drive.

Was looking for hard drives for the NAS server and this is the quality product I was looking for after having seen all the ones that were available.

I had a 1gb hard drive fail, and replaced it with this 2gb hard drive. It is an additional hard drive used primarily for music and document storage. i have no problems with read/write times, and it performs fine for my needs.

I did not want to upgrade my Windows 7 desktop to Windows 8 but the 320 GB drive was almost full. The answer was a 2TB Seagate. I paid Mad Mike $50 to screw it in and I'm ready to go.

I was able to change over from my old drive to the new drive very quickly! The Seagate software allows my OS and files to be transferred. I did not have to spend days reloading software!!!

Maybe too large for what I need, but it was only a couple more dollars from the 1tb to the 2. So yep.. I super sized it!

Had trouble getting this thing to plug and play. It bricked when formatting and went RAW. Finally just before returning-- I went to manufacture website and downloaded their hard drive utility. Unbricked and on its way.

The service was really fast it was done the same day I took it in for the hard drive to be installed and the people were friendly and knowledgable it was a great experience thanks

I've had no problems with these drives. They are used in a backup server and each backup takes most of the night. So disk usage is higher than a normal desktop.

I saw this on sale while shopping for a replacement for an office pc. While large for a standard office pc, the price was fantastic. So far there have been no problems at all

Somehow on my old hard drive there was physical damage? Replaced it with this one > fantabulous. All is working the way it should be. Huge, 2TB, Great Price!

Good value, well know drive maker. Only time will tell about reliability, hard drives are one of those things that you don't know the life and reliability usually until after you've used it for a few years.

I marked it as a 3 as I'm replacing a previous Seagate HD that just failed after only being in service between 2-3 years. Seagate has changed their warranty policy to 2 years (I guess they know how long their product will last). I used to get 5-7 years out of a HD - now only 2-3 years? At least the price is reasonable and I use them in a RAID 1 configuration so I can absorb 1 HD loss at a time. Online storage is still more expensive in the large TBs range so buying a new HD for local storage is still cheaper is why I haven't switched to cloud. This drive is a 2TB 7200 RPM drive.

Best Buy continues to be a great supplier for any business. They generally have all the normal components (and some of the oddball) in stock. Thanks for being there.

This hard drive is great. Extremely quite and efficient. Seagate website has some wonderful downloads to ensure easy setup. Recommend this hard drive as a replacement or for a new computer build.

First one failed after 2 days of use. The second one we have been using for a couple months now and it is working great. Performance is very good on it.

Easily installed hard drive and works perfect. I buy Seagate because they stand behind their product and offer more than a one year warranty.

I have this HD in one of my backup servers, it's used constantly. With this level of usage, the drive will probably only last about 2 years tops. I've had 3 of these die on me in the past and only use them in a RAID
